I really like Arlie's idea of taxing corporations 23 %. That's a good place to start.....but....then they will turn around....pay for the next election....and increase our flat tax. It will become another viscious cycle :(
I remember last yr., when someone....the head of a large corporation ....I don't remember his name?....offered to investigate fraud within the medicare system at no charge and President Numbnuts said "No" Why would he say no? Is there some intelligence on this issue that ppl are not aware of?

The only reason that I voted yes is because the current system is soo bad. I really don't know enough about it yet. The jury is still out......

I vote yes, but only if self employment tax is abolished.

flat tax fairly taxes everybody at the same rate, the "rich are entitled to keep their money as much as the poor and the middle class are to keep theirs, the taxes should be 17% across the board for all tax payers! corporations should pay 23%, this would be NO exceptions, no right offs, no tax shelters! the government would have more money than they knew what to do with, everybody would know what they owed, and the IRS could be eliminated down to a quarter of what they are now!

No the rich should pay more. they should be supporting the middleman and the poor, not the other way around. theyare not better than anyone else and it's time they start learning it.
ABOLISH THE INCOME TAX AND PASS A FAIR-FLAT TAX BECAUSE FOR TOO LONG OUR GOVERNMENT HAS DOUBLE & TRIPLE DIPPED ON US FOR TAXES TO JUST WASTE THEM! ALSO PASS LEGISLATION THAT ANY FED WORKER OR REPRESENTATIVE (STATE OR FED) CANNOT MAKE MORE THAN AVERAGE PRIVATE SECTOR WORKER MAKES ANNUALLY!

A FLAT TAX IS FAIR! WHEN YOU BUY SOMETHING YOUR BEING TAXED,PAY YOUR BILLS YOUR PAYING TAX,TO LIVE IN YOUR HOME YOUR PAYING TAX,YOU USE YOUR TOILET OR SINK YOUR PAYING TAX, WE ARE SIMPLY TAXED ENOUGH! STAMP OUT ORGANIZED CRIME ABOLISH UNIONS AND THE I.R.S!

The only reason I voted NO was because a flat tax is not as efficient as the Fair Tax. Flat Tax can still be manipulated too much.
