I agree with you Marilyn, As a woman of color and a passionate Hillary supporter (because of her detailed comprehensie energy policy and women and family issues) we are going to need a lot of help in the next 4 years. I went on McCain's website last night and he has so many Hillary supporters flocking to him because the Democratic Party has not spoken out against the sexism with the media in her historic campaign. If Hillary is left out so are 18 million of her supporters who withstood the negative media to go out and vote for her.

I cannot imagine why Senator Clinton wouldn't be his first choice. She has garnared 18 million votes on this campain. (John Edwards couldn't garner enough backing to even continue as a front runner in the candidate campaign) She is a strong, intelligent and determined leader. She does not back down from challenges. She brings "tons" of experience to the table.
If Senator Obama wants someone who will enhance his chances of securing the election, I don't know why he would look any further.
Senator Edwards does not command the confidence of the American people that Senator Clinton does. (look at her popular vote) I personally would not vote for a Obama/Edwards ticket and I know many others who would not also for the same reasons.
I am not thrilled with Senator McCain's stands on some issues, but I would seriously consider voting for him rather than an Obama/Edwards ticket.
