For Men with SSA: Tell Us About Your Past!
My father was emotionally distant.
My father was not there altogether.
My father never taught me what it means to be a man.
The male world always seemed foreign to me. I never felt comfortable with peers.
I was sexually abused.
I was physically abused.
I was verbally abused.
There was no love for me when I grew up.
There was no way I could talk to someone about my ssa.
Church members put me down for having ssa.
I was ridiculed in school.
I was beaten up for having ssa.
My dad never told me he loved me, he was proud of me and that I was good at something.
I tried to forget my ssa by marrying a good woman, but it did not work.
I married a woman and even though I still have ssa, I have never regretted it.
I founded a family and when I look at my wife and kids, I would do it all over again - inspite of my ssa.
I never dared to tell my Church brothers and sisters as they might look at me differently then.
