Asperchu. Reading Sonichu decreases your brain cells at an exponential rate. There are so many mistakes in Sonichu that it should have been aborted when Ian Brandon Anderson had the chance.
It's funny how in one arc he "cures" the gays with his "straight" blood, then in the next issue, he says that it's okay to be gay. Aparently not, if they're all already gone. He went forward in time to get the cure, then brought it back to eliminate them. If he eliminated the gays before the vaccine was made, then the vaccine would never get made and the gays would stay.
The comic is so hypocritical, especially how it calls out "women's rights" by taking provocative pictures. The level of censorship on the comic varies. Sometimes it's heck, sometimes it's hell, sometimes it's h***. Sonichu made a remark about his "seven inches", and this comic is *still* supposedly marked for children?
Ian needs to go to jail so he can be raped so he can finally accept his gayness (although he'd probably blame it on the raper for making it enjoyable), and move on with his life.
That being said, Asperchu is lovely with characters that have depth to them and interesting backstories and quirks. Whereas I read Sonichu to see "how worse can it get", I read Asperchu and now I'm hooked on the actual story. I don't really like how all the black people talk ghetto, but other aspects of their character make up for that.
My favorite characters are Jivin, Bionic, Max and Noirchu.

The poetic devices in the Asperchu narrative reveal a sense of pathos in the adventures of the chubby one which is totally absent from the 'scripto-priori'. The offending autist... I mean auteur.... I mean author (going by the subrique of Ian Brandon Something) fails to capture the essence of what a true liscence hatchet job actually is - taking a sublime matching of opposed narratological forces in Sonic and Pikachu and simply not being able to live up to the potential of the irony which the situation represents.
Even his insistent cries of 'OC' miss the comic mark and, as a consequence all those potential subtleties are lost to to the void like so many semen swilled down with a bottle of sweet, sweet Fanta Orange.
However, when all seemed bleak, in steps Asperchu a figure of true comic meter. I can offer no review of this material, for it is so perfect that it defies human interpretation. All I will say is that, should you read it, it will cure all forms of Cancer (save cancers living in Ruckersville Va.), buy you a crate of whatever gets you up/down/whatever and make Adultswim good again.
Neither. Mr. Blockley's Soni-chu the Eclectic Hidge-Hog Poke Mon is the best. Asperchu is quite all right, but Mr. Blockley's creation is better. See the "CWC address to the Royal Board" video to understand what I'm talking about.

Reading the Asperchu series is as euphoric as the time I heard the TRUE and HONEST Christian Weston Chandler play "Changing Keys" (the 80's theme song to "Wheel of Fortune") on a harp. I hope he and Kacey will appear on a sweethearts episode of WOF someday. He'll be rockin' the red podium, landing on Free Play (that sparkly wedge that replaced Free Spin), and avoiding those dang dirty Bankrupt and Lose a Turn spaces. Not only that, but Kacey will bear the Wild Card, which will be held until the bonus round to help Liquid and Kacey win over $80,000 in cash that night. Asperchu should be in a poll against something of higher degree and grace. Such a shameless joke it is to even consider that there is even a hint of competition compared to Sonichu. Asperchu has such lovable and inviting characters, bright and vivid, each with there own beautiful addition to the ever advancing and seamless plot. The art (which can only be held to the highest standards of our time.) is so detailed, you can capture the true meaning of it's pages. Truly each and every page is it's own masterpiece, waiting to be hung in the family room of every home in America.
To rate the shameless series Asperchu is in "competition" with, Sonichu is bland and you'll be hard pressed to make it past page four if your eyes haven't already secreted tears of blood. The art is worthy of the trash bin and the story looks as if it came from the same place.
To the authors of such a fantastic story as Asperchu, you grace us with the fact that you have Asperchu, free to read. Truly you are all saints, and worthy of Anon's highest marks.
Asperchu is brilliant! The Asperchu character is a hilarious representation of a mentally unstable, fat, latent homosexual. Sonichu on the other hand, seems to be based around a character that lacks any depth or intelligence. The creator is most likely a fat virgin whose only chance to make a meaningful contribution to society would be if he died and was experimented upon in search of a way to prevent such mutants from plaguing future generations.
Sonichu has a much deeper and intriguing plot, realistic and memorable characters, and it's great for society to be able to see a gay comic, especially one with such inspirational artwork.
Unlike the slanderous "sonichu" fanfic made by Ian Barandon Anderson, Asperchu keeps it hilarious and true to the original personality of the characters chreated by the REAL Christian weston chandler, as well as adding some truely original characters with deep personality such as Max, Jivin and of course, Asperchu himself

I think both series have rich and relatable characters. However, I'm glad Chris decided to make a spinoff of his Sonichu comics and devote his time to Asperchu. His hard work on the Sonichu comics must have really improved his writing and artistic talents, because he really seems to hone in on character development and detail. Max might be one of my favorite of Chris' original characters.
Asperchu is ten thousand times better. I've heard rumors of an upcoming episode where he sodomizes Sonichu and Rosechu for hours, till their asses bleed.

Hello. I'm a doctor and my I.Q is 170, so I know alot about comics. First I must say that the comic "Asperchu" is one of the best comics I have read in the last 10 years! The main character "Asperchu" is really inspirational, especially to me, and my autistic son. So this comic does not only appeal to intelligent people like me, but also to children with some problems!
Now to the other comic called "Sonichu", not only is it horribly written, it mocks the readers intelligence and gives a bad image of the people with autism or aspergers!
So my vote clearly goes to the awesome Asperchu! The comic is just great and I'm sure the character of Asperchu will be remembered in the future as the Superman of the 2010!

Wow, I'm really surprised to see so many other Asperchu fans here! I followed the link from CWCipedia so I assumed all of Chris's many fans would vote for Sonichu. I mean, Sonichu has had so much longer to establish itself and gain a fanbase, but right now the votes are 8,408 Asperchu, 432 Sonichu--nearly 20-to-1 in favor of Asperchu. I wonder why more Sonichu fans don't vote!

Asperchu is easily one of the most impressive pieces of sequential art produced in the 21st century. Where books like Blankets and Box Office Poison attempted to validate the medium of comics with gigantic tomes, Asperchu's DIY aesthetic and mind bending meta serialized storytelling have revolutionized not only how comics tell a story but how the reader interacts with the artist with a cutting edge wiki format for the comic to be told on.
I could blabber on how revolutionary Asperchu is, but what is really important is how incredibly developed the characters are. One recalls the sweet humanism of bill watterson combined with the sharp edged social satire of Dave Sim in his prime.
Worlds away we have Sonichu. The utter opposite of everything good and dear about Asperchu. Sonichu is a nasty,poorly drawn story about the fantasies of a mean spited autistic boy who deeply fears women, who are constantly dehumanized and turned into nothing more that mindless love dolls.
Bottom line: Asperchu is the product of love from an artist at the top of his game while Sonichu reads like the deranged notebook found on a serial killer.

If there is one comic book that I feel changes the way I look at web comics today, it is definately Asperchu. The excellent art style, powerful story, and lovable characters truly offers up an experience that this reader won't soon forget. However, I can not say the same for CWC's disasterpiece, Sonichu. With such a naive, borderline homoerotic (or gay if you will) view on the world, it's a small wonder that CWC's comic could have any fans at all! In this reviewers honest opinion, the Sonichu web comic has been created for the sole purpose of venting its naive and unpatriotic author's homosexual tendencies. If I am wrong, then what's with all the rainbows? Why is there so much talk about homosexuals and transgenders?
It is quite refreshing to read Asperchu. Now THAT is how a comic drawn by an intelligent, secure, handsome author is done!

Asperchu is a really great comic. The writing using things like TENSION and CHARACTERIZATION which a certain other comic does not. Also, the character cast is way more diverse, I applaud Alec for including and African American as a main character. Chris only shows such people in a negative light.
Well of course Asperchu is the better comic. ITs funny, the art is way better, and the story is capable of being followed. Lol, the only problem I have with it is there is not enough Jivin in the comic. If he isnt speaking in every comic there isnt enough of him. He's the funniest character in the comic

I had been a fan of Sonichu, but I have abandoned it since Mr Chandler's frothing homophobia and misogyny has offended me greatly.
Asperchu is the better of the two comics, for it teaches tolerance, peace, and respect to all peoples, regardless of color, gender, sex, race, sexual orientation, or creed. If more people read this inspiring comic, I think we'd be more inclined to be respectful toward one another.

I used to read Sonichu, although a lot of the time the violence and sexism made me feel uncomfortable. I kept my faith in it until the poisoning of the water supply debacle. Chris Chan is an evil character, he's a monster playing god with the poor citizens of CWCville. I could never share such a comic with my younger siblings because it's so disturbing.
Asperchu on the other hand is a delightful read, it's bright and fun and you can actually RELATE to the characters lives. Jivin' is such a wonderful, rambunctious character and excellent comic relief. Asperchu is a fine young genetlemen and I look forward to seeing him reach his goals. Please make more!
I came to Asperchu for the masterful art and brilliant storytelling. I stayed because its creator, Mr. Alec Benson Leary, is a true hero with a heart of gold.
Christian Weston Chandler, on the other hand is kind of terrifying! That video where he was screaming into a camera was just plain scary. And then there's his constant shouting of how straight he is. I don't understand why that's such a huge deal, I mean, I'm straight. So are over %85 of humans in the world, according to most estimates. Being hetrosexual never really struck me all excited about.
I'm appalled at Christian Weston Chandler's attempts to pass his Sonichu character off as his own creation when it's rather obvious that Sonichu first made his appearance in the beloved Asperchu comic. I find Asperchu as much a part of my childhood as Kenneth Graham's The Wind in the Willows, and I owe a debt of gratitude to Alec Benson Leary's inspirational and universal stories that helped guide me as a young heterosexual male.

Though I really love Christian Weston Chandler's Sonichu comic, Alec Benson Leary has proven to take CWC's method of storytelling to an entirely new level with Asperchu. Seeing that Chris has allowed Alec to use characters like Sonichu in his own comic shows that Chris also can see Asperchu's potential. I've always liked the writing in the asperchu comics. When I heard they were doing a spinoff using the minor character, Sonichu, I was expecting more great writing. Instead, Sonichu is an abortion of a comic, featuring art that could have been done by a first grader, and a plot that intentionally rips off ideas from other sources. It's clear that no effort whatsoever was put into Sonichu. It is basically a cartoon version of Limbo of the Lost, in that the only entertainment to be had is to figure out what game or show each part of the comic was stolen from.
Gentlemen it is my humble opinion that Asperchu is of course the superior comic. I'm sure we all started off as Sonichu fans and I'm just as sure that we're all sick of Christian Chandlers horrible attitude, his rubbish / non-existent update schedules, and his stubborn refusal to make any improvements. His overall bad manners and poor treatment of fans is the big factor for me though, in his last video he was ORDERING his fans to leave Asperchu alone. My family didn't fight a revolution just to become slaves to some manchild, no siree.
As a man who suffers with Aspergers, I find that I can relate more closely to Asperchu and his adventures than Sonichu, which seems to have an underlying anti-Aspergers agenda that deeply hurts me!
Not only can I relate to Asperchu, but the general stories are better written and the illustration are far more detailed and well defined. Such a combination only further displays the superior creativity of the author.

Asperchu is hands down the better series. Being a former Sonichu fan, l was repulsed by Sonichu's graphic sex and realized that it was all about a dumb guy's personal life. When l found Asperchu, l was amazed! lt was so much better than Sonichu, with an actual plot and cool characters.

Sonichu is better! My homosexual friends and I love Sonichu because of the obvious homosexual nature of the comic and its main character, Christian Weston Chandler.
I voted Asperchu, but I'm kind of surprised at all the Sonichu hate I'm seeing here. It's not like Chris is that bad. His only major flaws are that he's homophobic, racist, naive and refuses to listen to his superiors like that doctor that tried to explain aspergers to him in the mailbag. He's also going bald a lot lately. I guess he's pretty chubby too...oh who am I kidding? He's gotten pretty fat over the years. It's also kind of annoying how he calls his colossal man titties "masculine bosoms". I got news for you Chris, it ain't masculine to have bitch tits. Alright, screw it. I understand why everyone hates Chris Chandler now. But rather than focus on what a loser Chris is I'd rather focus on something positive, like how awesome Asperchu is. Alec Benson Leary is so cool! Asperchu is a delightful read!
How is this even a question worth asking? Of course Asperchu is better! Have you ever read Sonichu? It's a comic about some retard and a mouse that blow stuff up whenever the mouse is off having sex with one of the other differently colored mice. Recently in Sonichu the retard who writes it thought he could cure gay with his blood and had one of the mice put it in the water supply. Now everyone in his imaginary city is drinking blood water. God I'd hate to live in that shit hole. Asperchu, on the other hand, is about a kind and caring young man who has adventures with his friends. You never know what'll happen next in Asperchu, it manages to be incredibly gripping while still being family friendly so I can read it to my little sister. Alec Benson Leary's "Asperchu" is the new standard in webcomics that everyone should be striving for.
Asperchu's art and story are leagues beyond Sonichu. Not to mention the characterization of the Sonichu characters in Asperchu is far more interesting. It says a lot about Christian Weston Chandler's abilities that his characters are made so much more interesting in the hands of Alec Benson Leary. Alec has a much better grasp on what makes each character work, and his own original characters are unmatched. Sonichu has no characters as hilarious as Jivin, or as flawed yet sympathetic as Asperchu. Asperchu is by far a superior comic, and I personally am abandoning Sonichu forever now that a better alternative has come along.
Truly Asperchu is far superior to the mere childsplay that is Sonichu. With an intriguing and riveting storyline that keeps you reading for page after page, Asperchu is without a doubt the pinnacle of comic entertainment!
Asperchu is rich with original characters that are beacons of manhood. Whereas Sonichu us a drivel of one man's personal ego and homosexual fantasies. Clearly Sonichu is inferior and a dead comic series. Its fan base is crumbling rapidly as he alienates those who remain loyal with every day that passes.
Well of course the superior comic is Asperchu. Alec Benson Leary is a genius writer on top of being an excellent artist. His characters show the capacity to grow and change with time. Sonichu, on the other hand, is one dimensional as it gets. The art is reminiscent of first grade art class and the writing...oh god where do I start with the writing? Suffice it to say your average pre-schooler comes up with more entertaining characters and coherent storylines.
