Should the Mariners sign Ken Griffey Jr. for 2009?

We had the best of Griffey. Most fan neverrealize it is better to leave past heroes in the past. Seattle has tried before. Itdoes not work That third choice would be ok too if at the end he wishes, just to be in the Hall from whence he came.

They should definitely sign him, but not to be a center fielder. He's getting older and has been getting injured a lot playing out in the field. Sign him to a 3 year deal as a DH and draft a CF early as possible, and work hard on developing Jeff Clement as the #1 catcher, he was phenomenal in college and just needs that extra push to get up and going as a phenomenal catcher in the MLB.
