I don't think any of the above options are good. Why not just talk to him? Be honest. What he said actually leads me to believe that he may have feelings too, not to see him as a douchebag. Now, it's possible I'm misinterpreting. But she needs to communicate, and find out what he's thinking. Go slow, don't declare your love, but say you'd like to try spending more time together, if he's open to the idea. Especially if they're monogamous.

I cant vote on this one cause I am in the same boat. But I am married! It started out as revenge to get even with my cheating hubby. When he came back I hadnt had sex with my sex buddy yet but so wanted to. My marriage is just there we haven't split cause we are so use to each other that we just exist together. At first I thought it was for the kids but now I don't know. Even when my sex buddy and I had sex it was stright forward that he would move on in 9 months to another site. No Emotions No Strings Attached is what he said when we first started! What the hell does that mean! And now he says he is staying close to his with his new site so that he can still see me. So confusion sets in. So that makes me believe that he is getting emotions for me. I know that I do for him. Things that he he has talked to me about makes me believe that there could be more.
