You've gotta go with Brown. All things being equal, Brown is older, tougher, and is signed to a long term deal already.

That said, either guy would be a good choice and if one does not get the C, than he will certainly wear an A.

With as little interaction I have had with each player, I would definately say go with Brown. Like Will said, Brown is older and in a long term contract. and he appears to be clearly more of an on-ice leader. He has also done so much off ice thsi off season. But either way, the other will have an A along with Stoll. Wasn't Preissing wearing an A in Vegas?

I love Kopi, of course, but Brownie has the experience advantage, so I voted for him. I'm sure Kopi will be an alternate. That said, can't we go with co-captains? :)

Brown has that long-term deal, and is a very popular player (not that Kopi isn't). You really can't go wrong with either, but it seems too soon for me to make Kopitar my captain (he only has two full seasons of NHL experience). Maybe further along, then I could see Kopitar as a captain, but only if something unthinkable happens that would cause Brown to not be considered a "leader" anymore.
