For people who are more impressed with a folksy style than a depth of knowledge of the issues, Governor Palin would be considered the winner of the debate. For those, however, who have even the least bit of knowledge of the issues facing the nation and the world today, Senator Biden won based on the substantive nature of his responses. He answered the questions posed, unlike Palin who frequently avoided answering directly, responded in platitudes, or just talked about something altogether different when she obviously couldn't answer the question asked. Haven't we had enough of seven and a half years of folksy incompetence? Look at where it has got us. As a nation, we are less respected in the world today than we were eigth years ago, our economy is in shambles, and the institutions of our democracy are increasingly distrusted by our citizenry. Senators Obama and Biden have the ability and knowledge to reverse this situation.
Biden answered questions like a programmed robot with no emotion at all. Biden won nothing!
Yea, well I am happy where we are compared to where we will be if Obama ends up in the Whitehouse.
