I thought Joe Biden was more polished and precise on his answers. Sarah Palin seemed to dance around the answers and did not convince me she could serve as a good Vice President/President
Although I don't agree with Biden's views, Biden seemed to have the most pleasantly articulated empty rhetoric; which, unfortunately, seems to be the only objective standard by which these glorified beauty pageant answers are judged.
However, the hockey-mom's spunky and sometimes witty comments were quite entertaining and coincidently poignant, but not enough to outshine the senior Senator's experience in these type of events.
Biden clearly won. He gave concise, definitive answers with substance. Palin was robotically programmed. If the question didn't fit what she was programmed to answer, she talked about energy.
Palin did not answer many questions and only told us what she had been preparing ahead of time. She can hold her own as some say but only with what she has been told to say.
Biden did a great job being civil to Palin much better than Mccain was to Obama and he answered the questions well.
Joe Biden looked, acted, and sounded presidential. Palin, on the other hand, avoided questions and only answered with canned answers that she had memorized and rehearsed. Joe Biden won hands down.
Joe was just plain "Joe as usual" spinning Obama's and Joe's changes in positions on everything from timetables in Iraq to head of state, face to face contacts. We need honesty and Sarah showed it last night.
Joe Biden spoke clearly and articulately 100% of the time. There were times when I asked myself "What is Sarah Palin saying?". I can't believe someone actually thought she won with those winks she threw at the camera. Joe Biden clearly won.
While Sarah Palin is clearly not ready for the role of Vice President. Her answers were very obviously rehearsed and in many cases, she never answered the actual question. I also worry about her judgement when she says things like the causes of global warming are not important, only the solutions. How do you fix a problem if you don't know what caused it???
Sarah Palin did well last night and I'm a bit disappointed that SNL may not have any new material. However, it's clear that Joe Biden won the debate last night. He gave answers to all questions asked and kept reminding viewers that there are few, if any, changes between McCain's policies and Bush's. The clear winner.
I clearly lost. Be honest people. I dodged most of the questions. Joe Biden was awsome.
I believe that Joe Biden won because his responses were more precise. He used accurate statistics and spoke without intimidation. Palin was clearly rehearsed as all of America now knows that she is not knowledgeable about many issues plaguing the country. She had to work really hard to redeem her reputation.
Joe Biden presented himself as a seasoned politician who cares about this country and wants to help get us out of this mess we are in. I think he did a good job of answering the questions and rebutting some of Palin's comments. Sarah Palin seemed to be very rehearsed. At times I asked my husband -- "do you understand what she just said?" The winking and facial jestures seem very practiced and insincere. Also she was disrepectful in calling Senator Biden --Joe and Barack Obama -- Barack. Senator Biden called her Governor Palin and was very respectful -- a real gentleman. He is the real winner all-around
Biden was clearly good with his answers. I'd feel much more safer for him as Vise President. Palin wouldnt answer questions like she supposed to and wine she did she say what she wanted. She note good roll model for Vice President
Biden more clearly and good. Mavric All Palin studies maybe she be better as a Car mechanice. Or a coach on sports. But note for running this country. I well sleep better at night when Vise President Biden Wins
