I did not realize until that debate what a genius Palin is. Does anyone realize she had Biden wrapped right around her finger? Right out of the gate she says right where it can be heard clearly "My I call you Joe?"

I almost fell right out of my chair...... she had me, she had him and frankly, I was not in her camp until that point and it just got better the rest of the debate... Now the pundants may not see it that way, BUT I BET MAIN STREAM SOCCOR MOM DOES.

He was typical slick, sleazy Washington 30 years and detached from the voter... no doubt about it except those committed to him, I am sure.. but not those who had not made up their minds yet. Here is what I saw, she was charming, quick, confident even when she didn't have the answers, she never faultered with her demeanor. She was you and me, she related and was down to earth and real and standing next to Biden highlighted his slickness and disengenuousness.... very effective. Right now, given this bail out issue, that was the worse thing that could happen to Biden... LOL

Her message was, "I am not a Wall Street, oops, Washington DC insider, so I will learn the rest later, but you can be sure, I CANNOT BE BOUGHT". Also I know about my fellow Americans and what "we all go through" that you washington insiders do not. Man, what a connection she made..... I am experienced in this stuff too, so my respect is educated from experience working as an analyst for the legistlature in a state government.

Didn't anyone else catch this... it was brilliant.... she grabbed me from the first moment and never lost me. I don't watch these debates normally, but this one I sat through the whole thing. I think Obama is in trouble. I was going to vote third party, to be honest, but after watching her and knowing some of her history as a very courageous person, I think I will hold my nose (can't stand McStain) and vote for that ticket after all.

If he is ill and she has a chance to be President than that is the deciding factor for me... She did clean up the state of Alaska big time. Washington is such a filthy hole, it would take a steam cleaner 100 years to clean that place up of the corruption. But I get the impression she would hire a good Attorney General and give him free reign to clean that place up even if it takes 4 years and i would help by sending evidence i have of their wrong doing.

What also made up my mind was the bail out of China's banks by our congress WITH MY TAX DOLLARS WHICH IS TREASON BY THOSE TWO. I actually expected it of McCain, but not those two.

Oh, you didn't know it was China we were really bailing out.... Right, Obama and Biden, who suppose to know so much, didn't tell us, did they? So, that, added to my delightful introduction to Palin without a script, was a real treat and all of it coming together at once put me over the top to vote for the McCain ticket. I have also decided not to ever file again or pay taxes, so this bailout won't affect my progeny.

I've got such a problem with McCain signing onto the overburdened, pork-ladan bailout bill after claiming that - if elected - he'd veto any & every earmark coming his way. Saying NO would have been such a superb way to start.

I agree with you, Jane. I'm heartsick and angry at the whole bailout bill....wooden arrows, race track, wool research, indeed! Am very disappointed in McCain. Personally, I'm not sure Sarah would have signed it. She's a pip!!! Thought she did a wonderful job the other night, though I wasn't able to see the entire debate. McCain seems to have lost his momentum. Sad to see. Would love to know that if anything happened to him, Sarah would be there to take over.

I will vote for John McCain for President, but ONLY because of Sarah Palin. I am very impressed with this lady. And, in the current sick state that Washington DC politicians have the rest of us in, I see Palin as the only glimmer of hope that we have for the future. And, yet, it is so sad to see that the liberal (Communist) American news media is doing everything it can to try to ruin Sarah Palin...
