Do we get a choice? I thought the VP choice was made by the nominees, and then when we get to pick one of them. The VP comes along with them, like a rash. Or, maybe more like a bad haircut, since choice on their part is involved. You could as easily ask, "Who do you pick for First Lady?"
Be sure to vote!
How does this impact you?
You're not of legal age to be drafted. What draft you ask? Take a look around -- we are already in two active wars, Iraq and Afghanistan if you haven't been paying attention.
Which presidential candidate is in favor of war as the first plan of action? John McCain.
Don't think he can bring back the draft? Never heard of the draft?
Do some homework: Google it. Then vote for the candidate least likely to go to war just to go to war. Vote for Barack Obama and his running-mate Joe Biden!
Not convinced?
Vote for the team that has an economic plan to jump-start the economy.
Vote for the team that is already planning to help you with your college tuition.
Vote for the team that is working on a national healthcare plan so you don't have to choose between eating and going to the doctor.
Still clueless? Do your homework, then go VOTE!
Thinking about "the other guy"? We've just had eight years of "the other guy" >> George W Bush << and this one >> John McCain << won't be any better. Same "let the rich get richer" mentality that makes it difficult for small business owners and college students to get a leg up...
Remember, all those entry level jobs college students look for when they graduate are being sent overseas by the huge corporations that continue to be short sighted about the health and welfare of the American worker, American consumer, American taxpayer.
Get out and vote for Obama / Biden!!!
