Because I'm a licensed minister I think I fall in the I can't comment on political preferences....but I can say I prefer candidates who answer questions directly and don't dance around the answer :)

m'aam, They've both done that. I can provide references if you'd like. So who are you voting for?

2008-09-26 14:08:25 ET

I can not endorse candidates due to my profession so this is not an endorsement but as I listen to the candidates answers to questions I tend to like the way McCain answers....

Thanks for the clarification and for replying. I'd definitely suggest watching the debates tonight with an open mind. There will be lots of direct questions and chances for both candidates to explain their positions more. Not saying you're going to change your mind, but you will definitely get a clear idea on what they believe as well as how they say it. Best regards.

wow, i am worried. from this poll, it seems like there is a possibility that America will be led by a lying, stubborn, temperamental dude (again) God bless america

I always keep in open mind....I actually thought they both did reasonably well in the Rick Warren Forum...I didn't agree with everything said but thought they both answered the questions adequately.

I love how the stats keep changing! The bottom line is that this all depends not only on who takes the poll but who is retweeting the poll address. If you have tons of Obama supporters following you and they see McCain is up they may be prompted to come over and vote and vice versa. It's fun for sure! Be sure to keep checking back because these numbers change faster than you can imagine! @Dayngr

Get out and vote. Encourage everyone you know and everyone you see to vote. The U.S. participation in voting is pathetic. Show the world that our country is awake and participating in our democracy. Is there a stronger message to send than that? And if 70% or 80% or more of us show up, I think we can all live a lot better with whoever is our next president. (or at least we'll know that 80% of our citizens are morons and it really is time to move to Australia.) -@PopDaddy (not affiliated in any way with PollDaddy--though I think the name is el fantastico!)

Mike Bloomberg.

Seriously- Can we have a primary redo!

2008-09-26 16:31:58 ET

I love that idea - PRIMARY DO OVER!

The other option is Bob Barr, Libertarian candidate for president. Would be even better choice if Ron Paul had run independent.

John McCain won this, he was showing experience and knowledge that comes from experience, Obama recited his text very well, but it sounded like a text book...he has no record of accomplishment and I did check his actual voting record, he is super liberal in his voting record and sides with the Dems 97% of the time---no record of bipartisanship which is really needed to get anything done.

2008-09-27 22:55:07 ET

simply not true, @legalegal61 He had many bipartisan successes in the Illinois legislature, and partnered with Sen. Coburn, one of the most conservative GOP Senators, to pass the Coburn-Obama Transparency Act, which has the potential to identify far more governmental waste than anything McCain has done.

why is the media so out of touch with people? look at this poll from AOL http://tinyurl.com/3f3rh8 ...it seems when the polls are like the voting itself that McCain always wins. I think CNN is in for a surprise in November

and popdaddy the reason people dont vote is they dont understand that when they say electoral votes its based on +/- votes in a county region townshiip how many people votes one way they can win those electoral votes electoral votes are just smaller numbers of a total poll and i didnt hear obama stu stu stuterin its ok mccain your daddy will save you again.........maybe youll be smart enough this time to get out before you know letting them break your arms and legs repeatedly and if this 700b fails can the general public sue the government since the polls say over50% of us say no buyout???

rockinmomma you say u like the way McCain answers, have you ever noticed compared to Obama and Biden McCain and Palin never really give an answer. I'm not saying that Obama has never done it, I'm just asking don't you want straight answers, instead of someone always beating around the BUSH?
