Without even considering the costs, such as the preparations in Mississippi, the huge expenditures of US tax dollars on Secret Service security measures, the cost to the election process itself is at stake. If McCain can't multi-task his way through the campaign process, we already know he's not fit for office. What is McCain afraid of? He's not the fixer. He's running for office. If he can't leave D.C. to present his case on a world of issues, before the American people, he should just forfeit the whole election to Obama. Dale Wamujje Dieleman
