Should Congress pass the Clean Cruise Act this Fall?

Congress should pass the strictest laws that they can find to regulate the cruise industry,Looking at not only the pass record of the cruise industry such as the carnival cruise lines and their numerious violations of the clean water act should raise red flags throughout the industry. I am a fellow seaman that have worked on the water more than 35 years and seen alot of changes, and I have yet to see the cruise industry clean up their act. The billions that the industry makes very little goes into cleaning up the air we breathe or the water we depend on. where do you suppose the dead zones come from, or the rising health costs of our elderly and our kids. we can require shorepower
for all ships, we can require accountability by placing marine marshals on board, just as we require truckers and shippers to maintain logs. our marine life suffer because of this man made pollution and its time we clean it up.
