What do you think of the proposed Wall Street bailout?

George W. Bush, as President, has disappointed me in SO many ways; but, this government bailout--at taxpayer expense--is really the last straw! Bush just seems to be playing right into the hands of the career Democrats on Capital Hill (Nancy Pelosi, Barney Frank, Chris Dodd, and so many more). Even Henry Paulson, who Bush selected to be his latest Treasury Secretary is a well-known liberal (according to former US House Speaker, Newt Gingrich). This U.S. government bailout is just the beginning of treading down a mighty slippery slope! Absolutely no one wants to invest in U.S. stocks now. And, each day that Bush speaks about the situation, the stock markets always seem to fall hundreds of points more. Where will it ever end???? When all of the U.S. wealth that has been built up (over time) in this country is totally gone? Or will it be when we have a one party system--the Democrats--fully running 100% of everything in this country????? Bush has aided the Democrat party greatly. And, I have to admire the few Republican (and even fewer Democrat) House members that dared to vote against the Bush/Pelosi/Barney Frank/Chris Dodd bailout plan. This is not the kind of America our fore fathers fought and died for. Lord, they must be rolling over in their graves at what has become of us!!!!!!!!!!!!!
