Plenty of blame to go around. But the real problem is a problem with our society. Everyone must have the largest house, the fastest car, the newest IPOD. And we borrow to get it. Credit has become to easy to get... So before you find fault with everyone else, take a look at your contribution to this problem.
why not let wall street figure it out. the 700 billion should be distributed as a tax return to all tax payers - think about the economy boost then. we would have no need for fanny or freddie's money. it's our money, and it should be returned to us, as we the people are the only ones who handle our own money properly. we can fix this without the politics and certainly without paying a ceo. haven't we been through enough worries, and crossing our fingers hoping "they" do the right thing?
