President Reagan made all of this SO clear in the 1980s! GOVERNMENT IS NOT THE SOLUTION, GOVERNMENT IS THE PROBLEM. Apparently, a lot of people (right now) have forgotton the lesson of the 1980s; or, sadly, never learned it at all.
Obama, being a minority, should be more sensitve to this issue. I am surprised. Selecting 1-3% of the population or more to this special tax increase is not fair. Americans need to operate as one and not pit one group against the other. By, the way, the 250,000 is for joint filers. It will be 125,000 for single filers. I will lay off my one person I have help me because I will have a difficult time paying the additional tax. Yes, I am overextended like everyone else.
