What a stigmatising poll! When do we get to vote on: Do we want to treat heart disease early? Do we want to treat cancer early? Do we want to treat appendicitis early? Psychiatric disorders cause suffering and lifelong distress. Is there something different about people using mental health services that we have to ask if early intervention is justified?
