Are You Hostile to Diesel?

No, it's great, and you can substitute biodiesel. I would buy one.

Maybe, It is harder to find than gas and more expensive, why bother?

Yes, we need to go hybrid and electric and don't need to invest in a bigger diesel infrastructure.

I'm hostile to cars, period; enough surveys on them already.

More efficient and cleaner than gas powered - but - NO, NO, NO to biodiesel. It tends to be made made from food stock and making it is incredibly water intensive. Used cooking oil, okay.

No matter how you slice it when you clean it up enough to make it pass US emissions, that are still more lax then gas emissions you lose most of the efficiency but still have the higher cost.
