What do you think of MSNBC's decision of pulling Matthews and Olbermann off of election night hosting?

Keith definitely should be analyst and not a host. His daggers in and out of segments from the analysts were horrible. If he wants to enter the argument with analysts, he should be on the panel. Chris, however, I feel is a great host and provides very objective summaries. I am disappointed he will not be the host.

I love Keith, but it was getting uncomfortable to have him at the anchor desk. Sarah Palin is terrifying, but you have to play by the rules.

I agree wholeheartedly with William F and I'm sad because I love Chris and Keith -- especially Chris. That said, I can understand MSNBC's move to preserve its integrity as a legitimate news organization and avoid (as much as possible) accusations of being the flip side of Fox.

As much as I love me some Keith, he is a commentator, not a reporter. MSNBC needs to be more clear on "news" versus "commentating" - Same with Fox. Hannity and OReilly are opinion shows and have every right to spout off. Sheppard Smith is a reporter.
Sanity will have to prevail in this election.

I like David, but love the passion of Chris and Keith. I hope they will not be reigned in nor have less air time.

    It's caving and it's sad.
Imagine another network caving like this.

Do like David but not to host such a big event.
