How can Vancouver's politicians help create a civil city?



Well, uh, they already have a project dealing with this. It's, ah, called "Project Civil City". Idiot.

Give money to addicts so they can purchase crack.

A good old fashioned crackdown by the cops. With machine guns.

Convert public buildings into emergency shelters. Develop more social housing, with on-site social workers.

Teach a vanguard of downtown eastsiders how to use web 2.0 tools to present the mayor with a list of demands via Twitter.
