Solitare is my favorite performance on return show. He was made to cancel Larry King to come there. He stomped out on stage and sang his heart out to a cheering applause of the entire audience. He received no comment from Simon, Randy or Pauls with thanks for coming by or how great he sang. Ryan had the contestants ask questions to take up the "pregnant" silence. I'll always feel Clay showed all that he is above anything anyone can throw at him and will always rise to the top as he is a class act!!!
"All Is Well" made the hairs on my arm stand up. Brought tears to my eyes.
He has such a beautiful voice and his looks are beautiful too. Great character, great person, great everything. No one can top him. Love him to pieces.
Really hard, but when I played back AIW from Merrillville, I remembered. Being in the second row that night and watching that small "miracle". It was a memory I won't forget. Everyone went crazy, where Clay willed that perfection and the crowd was so with him. Everyone was screaming, crying, and it was a real moment. Watching it now, tears came again. No other performer affects me like this man!
