After reading about these clinical trials, do you plan to contact a physician or the study sponsor to discuss potential enrollment in that trial? (Poll Closed)

well i have failed back syndrome from a fqailed back fusion auto graft bone no instruments this was done 1990 ever since then i have chronic pain , i have been going to a pain center to find some relief thru use of heavy narcotics and steroid injection to multi levels of my spine my last MRI 2/13/08 showed i have 5 bulging discs and multi level joint disaese with the wicked pain down right left numbness all the time drs i have seen in a very relaxed way tell me nothing can be done except to try and make me comfortable if i was comfortable i would live a better life mine is nonexsitant i have no friends all have left me in this shape cant do what i used to do at all hunting and fishing are over for me im 50 yrs old i do not smoke ,i do not drink ,i do not use illeagle drugs , i take meds as prescribed with little relief if any i have seen many drs in NEW YORK STATE who all agree im blackballed form any further surgery at all my spine now has arthritus at many levels as well im told their is help for this but i am poor no one listens to my pleas and cries for help no one cares my wife and children left me , i remarried to a wonderfull woman who used to understand me with my pain now on verge of leaving me to fend for my self im bitter to every one i come in contact with and im mean all the time the fact remains im left untreated now for 18 yrs i have to do and go to any lengths i can find to help me again all requests for a new surgery fall on deaf ears all the time , im 50 years old and i want to work im not lazy at all i have wanted to try and better myself now for 18 years and well im about to give up im very depressed so much so at this time of year i dont celebrate christmas and havnt in 10 years at all no lights no decorations nothing but the chronic pain id like some of those who poke fun at me to live in my shoes for JUST ONE DAY that would be enough to show them what i live with im not sleeping well in pain im not eating much at all i used to weigh 165 now im down to 148 in less than a year my pain specialist treats me like im in line at mcdonalds im in for appt and right out the door with prescriptions in less than 20 miutes thers no wait either why they dont even have a scale to weigh me on or to keep track of how im doing , wont let me see any of my charts or prognosis reports at all im blackballed i have medicare which is a laughing stock , so i bought myself a hmo thru Touchstone health they most months when i go to drug store report to pharmisist they have never heard of me , so i have to fight for my medications as it is i am forced to drive 70 miles round trip to find a dr who will write class 3 prescriptions for me no one else will at all when i have a breakthru pain and go to er in my locality im almost neglected and discriminated from treatment , my health insureance is slow to pay the drs who have looked me over thus bill colectors allways calling wanting a payment plan agreed to well i have not worked a minute in 18 years so they drive by my home looking for anything of value they can sue me for i dont own nothing but my 1990 chevy pick up with 250,000 miles on it worth about 100 bucks , i have had to fight so much for last 18 yrs that im ready to give up entirly and step off curb in front of a bus with a note saying its not the drivers fault but due to neglect of medical care in the USA too bad i wasnt a mexican id get all the help and money i could use to better myself yeah im ranting now so ill stuff it all deep inside till i burst without saying a word and let life run me further into the ground where i belong according to the federal government that wants me off the social security disability im forced to live on now for many years which aiint much at all based on 3.35 an hr i recieve approximately 572.00 a month no where near enough to live on pay bills and eat to i eat one meal a day and that it the most of my money pays bills , i really do live CHEAP AND ITS NOT MY FAULT IM A CRIPPLE ILL DO ANYTHIN

How do I enroll or contact someone in the DASCOR® 3D Feasibility Study? I have the degenerative disc between L4 & L5 and would like to learn more about the study.

i also have suffered since i was approx 18 i recentlly had a MRI which showed disc desease at numerouse levels C/4 C5/6 C4/5 and C7/t1 andC3/4 indenting the anteria theca but a more broadbased oteo vertbral indenting the theca at c4/5 and furtherbroad based osteovertabral discbarsatc5/6 andC6/7 and a probablefusion of c7 and t1. i was sent this result through the post? an that was that! i would be interested but i live in GB

I have CDDD and now last week was diagnosed with Lumbar DDD. I have had cervical fusion of C5/6 and all the ones inbetween are slightly herniated and degenerated. I injured my back last week and was hospitalized because I could not bare weight to stand, I could not turn to get of my hospital bed to got to the bathroom. I finally got a hold of my orthopedic DR. and when he changed meds, it made a difference. He read my MRI and as the other DR. told me I Had two buldging disc in my lumbar spine, one buldging left and the other right. He then told me I had DDD of the lumbar spine now. Which the other MD didn't. I am tired of constinetly taking pain meds and muscle relaxers. My back is always knotted up. I have tried Ultram, Maxel and few others. Some of them also treat Fibro myalgia. The only thing that seems to help to make life functionable is tylenol 3, lortab, percocet. I wish there was a better way to treat this. I am only 37.
I did find, that working out daily does help strengthen the muscles around the spine. I did not have to take any pain meds when I was working out daily. But it does not stop the deterioration. Just makes life liveable. I did become a personal trainer. Once my injury heals I plan to get back into the gym.
