I'd rather see Obama debate Palin! Sarah would eat him alive.
Pallin is going to beat the tar out of Biden in a debate. You go girl!!
We already know McCain & Obama.
We want and will see a slap-down on those people against the values of this country, Ha!
though I know it's not possible! I would to watch Sarah handle Obama to silence the experience question. I believe she willl expose Biden and would expose Obama.
Of course it would be entertaining to see Biden behave, but I want to see a debate with the two candidates who will actually be running the country. If I wanted gossip or entertainment I would read a People magazine.
I believe she would be dynamic!
Two incredible speeches! Finally, I'm excited!
John McCain is a GENIUS !! By choosing Palin, he had single handedly changed the talk at every dinner table and every drinking fountain in America. He's a GENIUS !!
I would like to see Sarah debate Obama & Biden together. She would make mincemeat of both of them!
Finally a women who is not running on her husbands coat tails, and speaks her mind as we all do at home. No sugar coating, raw like life really is !!
I know we don't vote for vice president but wow... isn't this election year exciting? History making? Soon we'll have the first woman vice president. I can't wait to vote this year.
I love Sarah Palin and I'm proud as a woman she is running! She's going to blow them ALL out of the water...have her debate everyone! She's awesome!
Palin is gonna rip Biden a new one. Sarah Palin is our homegirl here in the valley and as a woman, she represents middle America. I would never let Hillary represent me, nor would any other woman that I know of. If you poll the residents of Alaska, other than Andrew Halcro, Randy Ruedrich and Lyda Green, we are all on board with McCain's pick and will be rooting for them!! GO SARAH!!!!!!
Palin is a baraccuda and she will eat biden for lunch on many issues of experience. I have an employee who lived in Alaska and voted for Palin. She said she is thunderbolt of lightning that roars with confidence and excitement.
I can't remember any past VP debates. I think they tend to be hype and used for short lived quotes.
I was considering not voting, for the first time in over 20 years. McCain got it right, and woke a sleeping giant! I will be voting in November. Go Sarah!!!
Sarah is frest air and men are really getting behind her as much or more than women. Go Girl!
The RNC did a great job tonight, my 20 year Obamanite daughter got mad and left the room during Fred Thompson's heartfelt speech.
I want to see Obama without a teleprompter period. More specifically, I'd like to see Obama-McCain debate foreign policy. I seriously doubt Obama's presidential experience because of running his campaign has given him enough to even hold a candle to Senator John McCain in that debate!!
I strongly believe that the VP debate will be well worth watching between Palin and Biden. Should Ms. Palin do well in the debate and continue to withstand the negative B.S. imposed by the liberal press and others, then McCain-Palin will have my vote.
I would also like to see Palin wipe the floor with Obama.
I've already seen the debate I'd like to see..... the "Saddleback" debate was a great format & I wish that they were all like that scenario. thx, rockmann
There is no doubt Palin would cream Obama. She's truly the Obamaminator!
I too would love to see a debate between Obama and Palin. He wouldn't stand a chance.
I would love to see a Palin/Biden debate. The fact is, I'm tire of the Obama hype... and think that Palin has brought some fire to this election that is not only honest and pure, but far more exciting then the over inflated hype that has billowed around the Obama Campaign.
I'm very impressed with McCain and Palin and want to see both debates. This is one tough lady and will make a remarkable VP.
I am a Canadian watching your election process. Who you elect is important not only to Americans but is imensley important to Canada and the rest of the free world. Obama scares me so I have been rooting for McCain all along. But I am positively excited about Palin. I think you have a real winner there. I'm anxious for the acceptance speech and especially the debate. Go girl! Fred Mc/.
I would rather see Sarah Palin debate Barack Obama!
I think that Palin can take on Obama or Biden with her hands tied behind her back.
I want to see how Obama answers to McCain on the issues, without being told what to say, I think Obama will fall on his face with quick, inacurate responses.
I think Gov. Palin rocks! I think she could stand up to Obama and Biden.
Greta, How could the Dems go after Sara and her family... when Ted Kenndy there favorite Dem has skeltons in his closet with Chappaquiddick and a 9 hour process to cover up the death of Mary Jo Kopechne
Biden has never been spanked by a woman as hot as Palin!
Governor Sarah Palin leads the personal life that almost every American woman lives. A normal life. So what if she has a daughter that is pregnant. There is definitely something to be said about being "pro-life". God love her and God bless the USA!
Forget Biden, bring on Palin and Obama.....ah..ah..ah..you know...that's the debate I want to hear.
This college-educated California voter and also a mother of 5 will most definitelt be voting for McCain/Palin...Go Sarah!
Biden has nothing to match Sara Palin with. She is one of us being a hunter and going out fishing and raising a family. My daughter also had a shild out of wedlock and i love both of them. betcha mr biden would not be caught dead holding a worm.
I would love to see Sarah Palin debate Obama, I really don't believe he would stand a chance.
The real debate I can't wait to see is the one between Vice President Palin and Representative Nancy Pelosi.
Silly Liberals - Tricks Are For Kids! McCain can debate Barrack Obama any day because he's well versed on the issues, he's been there and done that, and he's the best candidate! Sarah Palin can debate Joe Biden any time, at any juncture. They don't call her the Baracuda for nothing. Watch out. Here she comes... the next VP of the GREAT UNITED STATES!
Sara Palin will blow Biden right out of the water.
Lieberman 2006: I Will Help Obama “Reach to the Stars” Posted: 31 Aug 2008 09:00 PM CDT Here’s Joe Lieberman praising Obama back in ‘06. This is more evidence that Joe has attached himself to McCain out of fear of being ‘left behind’ in the Senate and not because he believes McCain is the right choice for President. (h/t Scarce) “As far as I’m concerned [Barack Obama] is a ‘Baruch,’ which means a blessing. He is a blessing to the United States Senate, to America, and to our shared hopes for better, safer tomorrows for all our families. The gifts that God has given to Barack Obama are as enormous as his future is unlimited. As his mentor, as his colleague, as his friend, I look forward to helping him reach to the stars and realize not just the dreams he has for himself, but the dreams we all have for him and our blessed country.” Joe proclaims that Obama will make America safer and said he would help Obama realize all the dreams for our country. Will he say this with pride during the RNC convention? Let’s see if the media brings this up when they cover his speech.
I would prefer seeing Palin and Obama. She would clean his clock.
Skin a Moose or Biden - Go SARAH! As a mother of 5 I know Sarah is going to kick some deer tail! Forget about Annie get your gun - Sarah you got our vote our Money and Support! Go girlfriend and don't let these liberal media freaks get in your way or distract you they are scared and desparate! Put this on the air Greta... we are watching. Nancy K Granada Hills, CA
I will love see Obama debate Palin I have no dought that she will take care of Obama in the first round. It not the same to a governor of the biggest state of the union and manage 10 billion dollars and 24,000 people than manage a campain like Obama said on his remmarks.
Sarah Palin is almost too good to be true. Finally a real candidate you can believe who loves the country not just her party. Her debating a long-termer like Biden would be interesting and different I'm sure.
As a Democrat for McCain, I am looking forward to seeing the debate between Palin and Biden. I was very excited about Gov. Palin being the VP with McCain and hate what the other side is doing to her. She will wipe the floor with Biden.
Joe Biden represents the failed politics of the do nothing congress that has a 20% approval rating. What subject does he have to debate on? No one bothered to listen to him when he was running to be the democratic nominee-no one is going to listen to him now. Sarah will eat him alive with all his Washington shenanigans!!!
In truth, I would rather see Governor Palin debate Obama. She would eat the man alive.
They say it's "tougher in Alaska" for a reason - because it is. I'd like nothing more than to see a Biden V Palin debate.... she would strip the hide off of Biden to expose the fatty innards beneath the surface like a Kodiak on a salmon !
I would hope that Gov. Palin could soften her stance on the abortion issue regarding no tolerance for abortion for those that have been raped or victims of incest. I do think that some moderation in this area is more reasonable.
I would prefer to see Palin debate Obama!
I look forward to both debates, but can't wait for "Palen to go Wailin" on Biden!
Putting Palin and Obama together in a debate would be great!!!! He is pretty wishy-washy and I think she would wipe his clock clean!!!!
Biden will be out of his league when he tries to debate Palin. She will eat his lunch.
Its about time we finally took back our government and made it work for ALL the people....Go getem Sarah!!!
Two Democrats in this house will vote for McCain Palin this time instead of this madeup candidate has pushed through our tv screens. When McCain win this very important office the news media will like they have never cried before. It seems like journalism hasd died in 2008.
Actually I already know what McCain could do to Obama.............I would like to see the Republican VP pick go up against the Democratic number one. On experience, foreign policy, or just what it means to be between the (parentheses)!!!! She is SUCH a breath of fresh air. I have four sisters and one of them has had two kids out of wedlock, we didn't agree but she didn't have to worry about us not loving her! THIS is real life ya'll. JHT
sarah and I shared same community from the time she was elected mayor and she is for real and knows how to govern.I hate losing her in alaska but with her in d.c.I have alot of hope for our country
I am a woman and very excited about the republican ticket but I still believe the election is about the president not the vice president. I truly believe John McCain will definitely show up Obama on experience, character and foreign policy and I can not wait until the first debate between them.
obama vs palin debate : Palin would kick his ass to the curb.
Sarah Palin is the heartland American Cousin to Lora Croft.......She's what every women would like to be. Accomplished on so many levels; home, family, love, honest, and a crusader for a better future accomplished with practical solutions with an ethical smaller government who serves the people. We need fewer career Washington politicians. I'm so glad she's not of the old guard. My Lord, is she real? Any women who can hunt her food, skin it and cook it up epitomizes self-reliance and self-sufficiency. That's what we all should be and what America is founded on. Cousin Sarah.....you are great!
I want to see McCain tear Obama apart, I Think he will be respectfull and refrain from that, but its what I want to see.
I would love to see a Palin v Biden Cage Match!! Why is the right so afraid of a strong, independent woman? They were to vote for Hillzilla, and they are talking smack about Gov. Palin? THAT makes a lot of sense.
To me, Gov. Palin sounds like a remarkable woman. I think she can hold her own EASILY against anyone. Why, just because she is a woman, do people think she should be treated differently than any other candidate? Just the little I have heard about her & her husband, I think they are a winning combination. If Biden wants to debate her, think he is in for a big surprise. Think she could even hold her own against Hillary Clinton. Even if her daughter is pregnant, who are we to judge anyone else. There was only one perfect person (Jesus). It certainly is not any of us. Give her a break & treat her (& her family) with respect.
Both the debates will be something to behold, for sure. We can almost lip sync the McCain/Obama debate, which I think McCain can handle well. The reason I'd want to hear the Palin/Biden debate is because we haven't heard Ms. Palin in a debate before. We've heard Biden's acid tongue and sarcasm, but it will be interesting to see Palin trounce him with her honesty. That doesn't mean we don't care about the Presidential debates.....just that they will be fairly predictable. We will watch them ALL with great interest.
I had to switch over to C-Span for the RNC because Shep was too pro-Obama, showing his ads and so obviously biased, where's the "fair & balanced" in that?? Poke Ole Shep and tell him we said 'NUFF ALREADY!--He's just too TOO obviously in love w/BHO to be on FoxNews.
I am absolutely going to vote for McCain/Palin because of Sarah Palin. I usually vote a straight Democratic ticket, but I can't in good conscience do so this year. The best choice is clear and invigorating: McCain/Palin 2008...
I am more interested in McCain vs Obama than the VP choices, however it would be more fun to watch Palin vs Biden or Obama. One point I wish to make though about Sarah Palin and her daughter's preganancy is that pro-life is a choice of it's own, and I am disappointed that so many people feel that just because abortion is legal it should be the only choice made available to teenagers.
Governor Palin is a breath of fresh air in this campaign, and her selection was a brilliant stoke by the McCain camp. I really believe we can win now. Before Palin, I had a lot of doubts. I believe a Palin/Biden debate would really be interesting. I also think that Rick Warren's interview of Obama and McCain pretty clearly summed up their views on major issues, so we don't need a debate between these two. What Palin lacks in "time" experience, she makes up for in common sense, spunk, savvy, and intelligence. No doubt - she would make a great president, if that lot befell her. I'm hoping she ends up a fabulous American rendition of Britain's Maggie Thatcher - she's got the potential. Yay, Sarah Palin!!!
WOMEN FOR SARAH - SHE IS OUR VOICE THE VOICE THAT WE HAVE WAITED FOR ALL THESE YEARS - WE ARE WITH YOU ALL THE WAY.
I can hardly wait to see Gov. Palin knock Sen. Bidon's socks off! She is being judged unfairly. But she'll come through it like the tough Lady she is. What a breath of fresh air we have in her. More power to ya Sarah!
CNN's Cambell Brown is one of the most biased TV personalities I've heard in trying to put down Gov. Sarah Palen. What a joke for anyone watching CNN expecting to get a balanced opinion.
Two opposite feelings that reinforce - I don't want to see or hear from Obama unless I overhear someone elses radio by mistake. - i want Sarah Palin to blast this ticket to the White House and get four years training for her eight years as President. I don't care what or how much mud anyone throws at her - I will support her and McCain and work for them to save this country.
Palin should take them both on at once
Would pay to watch Palin take on both Obama and Biden. She would eat them alive! Obama would hem and haw without his teleprompter. For an attorney he really can't think on his feet very well.
I have the utmost respect for Sarah Palin. I believe she would be able to come out on the winning end debating anyone. I would feel comfortable voting for Sarah for President in 4 yrs. Possibly even in November
I really happy about Palin but this is a chance for McCain to expose obama for what he really is,a PHONY.
About time!! Forget your party affialition, vote for your country. McCain/Palin are both fighters for US. Not a party!!!!!!!!
I enjoy the debate between Mc cain and Obama, it's really amazing watching Obama stutter for the answer. Mc Cain has an answer immediately, he doesn't just say what everyone wants to hear per party. Obama is only offering us change on our tables and were not living in poverty and I'm offended by Obamas insults.
I would really love to see all four of them debate. Prfesident debate one night and the Vice President the next night. I am so thrilled that McCain picked Palin to run with him. They will make a great team. Go U.S.A As far as Obama and Biden, I don't trust either one of them with our country. If they get elected, we are all doomed.
Amen rivercat and Nancy! Sarah Palin would eat both Obama and Biden alive in a debate. Let's not forget the fact that she already has MORE EXECUTIVE EXPERIENCE than the Messiah Obama. She deals everyday in her position as Governor with both the Canadian and Russian governments on transportation issues and fishing issues. What governments has Obama ever dealt with in his "illustrious career"? She has taken on the corruption in Alaska, and ended it! She is a down-to-earth, regular, everyday American -- and not a typical Washington politician, which Obama was before he even got to Washington.. On the flip side of the coin, Obama comes from the most corrupt political system in America, the Daley machine and Chicago politics. Go get em' Sarah!
Greta, try and stay a bit more neutral!!
I'd rather see Obama debate Palin! Sarah would eat him alive!

Definately Sarah and Biden he will have to put on his big boy panties cause she will eat him alive.what a strong and gracious woman. Go Sarah
I cannot wait to see Sara Palin debate senator Biden. She is one smart lady. Go Sara!!!
Sarah Palin is just exactly what the old boy, white bread congress and senate needs to scare the crap out of them....Remember, the VP is the President of the Senate and casts the deciding vote in a tie situation.... God bless the women of the world with many children!....We have 5 as well! She could stare down Putin, because he does not understand PMS..."There is nothing so fierce in the world as a women scorned ( or mad!) You go Girl!!!
The perfect storm...Sarah Palin. Palin is smart, poised, "just like us", and ready to go. This is one fun election! Who would have thought just a few months ago that the Republicans had a really good chance of pulling off another term? Go McCain-Palin!
Ronald Reagan is back and this time he is a women!
I am proud to be a Republican. Who in the world could vote for Obama after listening to the speeches tonight? Who in the world could even consider an unknown community organizer when the time is taken to really think about it - it's absurd! To vote for a person solely on his speaking abilities and because he would be the first black president is not good enough and is actually scary!! I am soooo excited to hear from Sarah tomorrow night. She is more like the common man and woman of this country. She is proud to be an American. I am proud of her!! You go Sarah!!!!!
As with many others, I cannot wait to see Sarah Palin debate Biden. She has given me a new enthusiasm, zeal, and complete turnaround of my appeal for John McCain. In addition, I think she would someday be a great candidate for the first woman President. Complete realism in all she stands for.
I am so excited about Palin. I finally have a reason to go to the polls and cast my vote.
Question here. . . how many of you do NOT know a young person who became pregnant out of wedlock? Now, how many of those people not only kept the child, but also married the child's father??? As far as I am concerned, that makes Bristol better than the VAST majority of sexually active individuals in this country!! That tells me that Governor Palin DEFINITELY did something right in raising that young woman!!
Sarah Palin is the heartland American Cousin to Lora Croft.......She's what every women would like to be. Accomplished on so many levels; home, family, love, honest, and a crusader for a better future accomplished with practical solutions with an ethical smaller government who serves the people. Any women who can hunt her food, skin it and cook it up epitomizes self-reliance and self-sufficiency. That's what we all should be and what America is founded on. Cousin Sarah.....you are great!
I think Sarah Palin is a fine woman and I hope I can marry a woman as fine as her or Laura Ingraham or Megyn Kelly or Greta! Have a great speach and campaign dearest Sarah!
Wow! Talk about expect the unexpected. I told my husband 3 weeks ago he should choose her, and shazam! We're so thrilled with Big Mac's pick. She has all her tickets punched. Unfortunately the media and radical blogs will pick her apart, but I have a feeling she will shed their criticisms like a duck sheds water. GO McCAIN & PALIN!
DEFINITELY PALIN AND BIDEN,LISTENING TO OBAMA IS NOTHING BUT A WASTE OF TIME...THE HAS NOTHING TO SAY...AND IF HE DID HE COULDN'T SAY IT WITHOUT A TELE-PROMPTER!!!!
I saw Sarah Palin a few weeks ago when the oil prices were spiking and was very impressed with her. The day McCain announced her as V.P I just cried with so much happiness. She radiates honesty. I would love to see her debate with Obama. Obama has really cooled his jets in the past two days or so. Like Obama, I would go home too and not watch Sarah, cause she is going to blow the socks of him. She is going to take this election to a new level. Yeah Sarah I really appreciate her. Joy George
Sarah is wonderful!! Greta, you disappaoint me with your attitude toward her. She is putting life back in the RNC. Fox kept repeating the story all day and ran the pregnancy issue in the ground. My family faced the same issue many years ago. It's terrible that people keep harping on it plus making awful remarks in their blogs. At last we have a REAL person, someone the REAL world can identify with. GO Sarah!!
Palin should be running for president, she will eat all of them alive in a debate.
The McCain- Obama debate will be won by John McCain. There's no doubt in my mind. After looking at the credentials of Govenor Palin and watching some of those committee hearings that Senator Biden has sat or Chaired, it would be a debate I would like to see.
I can't wait! Governor Palin will tear him apart. She is very articulate as is Senator Biden, but she doesn't suffer from foot-in-mouth disease like the Senator. It will be very fun to watch. And then it will be fun to watch how the Obama/Biden campaign will run their damage control.
I agree! Gov. Palin would eat that loose cannon attack dog alive. Can you imagine him as President? Only an empty suit with 100+ days as a Senator for experience (often thought the worse training you can have to be President) and nothing to read text from would be worse. I'm terrified of either of those Socialists getting hold of this country. Things are bad enough with Harry Reed and Nancy Pelosi running around without a leash. The Republicans have made a mess, but surrender to people who want to destroy the world and creating a welfare state will not fix the mess, only make it worse. It's time to clean out a bunch of 20+ year experts at pork barreling and get some people who are willing to work together. (Wonder why the crazies didn't riot at the DNC?)
I think that we have finally found someone who is genuinely interested in helping and representing the general public and is not one of the "Good Ole Boys". This is a Mans Woman as well as a real woman. I have been a lifelong Democrat, but this woman has convinced me that Party is not important. This country is; and without people like her, we may not have a country much longer.
As a Goldwater conservative in Arizona, I cant vote for McCain, BUT, if Palin can put Bden down like grass seed, he has my vote. I think that when you are in a war, like with the dems, you bury them, NOT compromise.
As I reflect on John McCain's pick for vp at first but as I have gotten to know her better the past couple days I think it was a stroke of genius. She could and would take on both Biden and Obama and dress-down the both of them. She's a leader watch out you "Washington Good Old Boys" GO SARAH!!!
Biden will find out that Tougher in Alaska isn't just a TV show. Sarah will be meaner than a momma grizzly whose cubs have been threatened. Wait a minute, her cubs WERE attacked. Just maul em good Sarah, and leave em to die. I've heard libs have a rather foul taste. Hang in there. We love you and the family. David
I remember all the cheap politial moves and dirty debating tricks Joe Biden used with Ted Kennedy to try and block the nomination of Justice Clarence Thomas. I remember those who stood up to his ridicule, his nasty comments and his attempts to manipulate the rules - those who got their testimony and the truth as they knew it on the record for all of us to see. I hope and trust that Sarah Barracuda will be able to handle his mouth and his con artist ways just as well. Go Sarah!
Greta: Susan is full of it. Democrats cannot handle a Republican FEMALE VP nominee. I am so pleaed to see ANYONE, and it happens to be a woman, who can make decisions without putting a finger in the air to test the wind. AND, a woman who has not attended Harvard or Yale or who feels that they are owed this nomination. The Speaker of the House must be wetting her pants. So simple.
I feel it is more important to hear the the candidates, who are competing for leadership of our country. Their voice....their stand.
Obama is shaking in his Bruno Maglis! Look out Biden, you may be in for a challenge.
I am excited to have a REAL person and a WOMAN at VP! Not every family is PERFECT! Thank G-d For REAL people. And to all those throwing stone at her and her family. 'Let those who have never sinned throw the first stone!' I am not sure which bible verse that is but I know its in there.
I want to see how powerful she as a VP nominate. How she woud handle the press and for someone who fought corruption.
I , too, wish that I could see a debate between Obama and Palin. McCain was genius in his choice, and I think she'll make a fine VP. Before McCain chose Palin, I didn't want to vote. I would, of course, because that's my American privilege and duty, but I was probably going to do the tried and somewhat-true method of "close eyes and point" to pick who I was voting for. I actually haven't been that excited about this election even when the candidates weren't clear. Now, I am. As a piece of Facebook Flair said, I'd rather take an inexperienced VP over an inexperienced President. And let me say, Palin dwarfs Obama in political experience. Go Palin, and wipe the floor with the Dems!
I would rather see Sarah debate the community organizer. I believe character trumps experience. I look for tenasity, integrity, virtue, and morality in any elected official. These qualities are hard to find today. However, I believe Mrs Palin has all of them. I feel confident she will pick up the experience needed very quickly.
I've seen Obama, I've seen Biden, I've seen McCain. I haven't seen Palin. Put her up against anyone and I'm there. But to watch Palin for the first time as she send Biden running home to his mommy will just be too great. Hearing the reactions of the Dems afterward will be even greater. I'm not a huge McCain fan but turned off totally by the Obama "I-have-nothing-to-show-you-I'm-worthy-to-be-POTUS-but-I-can-spout-the-word-change-over-and-over" phenomenon. Thankfully, Palin brings to the ticket the life that it needed to revive voters like me. McCain/Palin '08!!
Sarah is, no doubt, a gift from The Lord. She has so many strengths and virtues--the way she copes with problems in her personal life is amazing and inspirational. I can't wait till her speech tomorrow night. Sarah~~You Go, Girl! Greta~~You Go, too!
McCain and Palin are not only change we can believe in, they have a record of change that we can actually see!!!! No platitudes , promises, and poetry- just proof... McCain/ Palin! 08!!! (And to think I wasn't even going to vote a month ago)
Everyone is sooooo sick of hearing 18 million people chose Obama and only one man chose Sarah Palin. The people who chose McCaine trust his judgement, that why they chose him. How about 18 million people chose Hillary and Obama did not choose her? What kind of judgement is that? The American Public is not as stupid as you give them credit for. Democratic always play both sides/get over yourself/people don't need you to tell them how to think/the more nasty and negative you are the more people you lose. So go for it/keep up the cheap shots and run yourself right out of Washington
Finally we see a Conservative not affaird to speak her mind. Refreshing.
Looking forward to seeing the Govenor put the politician in his place. She has certainly made more DECISIONS than Obama and Biden combined. Swann is right Gretta she has more executive experience why can't you accept that?
Sarah Palin would no doubt take Joe Biden on executive descisions and hold her own on forgein policy
Sarah Palin is amazing...I can't wait for the Palin/Biden debate! Then after Biden loses this VP slot to Sarah and goes back to the Senate, he will be up for re-election soon and guess who's running against him...another woman...Christine O'Donnell, another beautiful but tough cookie and i hope she sends him packing out of the Senate too. Its time for JOE TO GO!
Sarah Palin is the perfect choice and will push McCain/Palin past Obama. The Republicans needed this in a big way!!
Sarah Palin's energy, spirit, intelligence and the means to cause reform, as she did in Alaska, has made the Democrats weak in the knees and shaking in their boots. She could debate either of them while she diapered the baby and skinned a moose. You go girl!
As interesting as a Biden/Palin debate might be, they aren't the nominees!! I think we need to give a little more credit to Obama, too. He is a great speaker and is quite accomplished at motivating an audience while, at the same time, saying nothing. Obama's last speech, at the DNC, challenged McCain to a debate, which he has refused time again all summer. Now, that he has decided that he is ready, let's hear it.
obama vs Palin.........No way, no how, nobama....
I know Palin will take Biden out of the game, and I can't wait to see Obama on O'Reilley on thursday. This is just getting more exciting everyday, can't wait to see what happens tomorrow! GO PALIN!
As a longtime registered Dem, having only ever voted for Reagan before...I am throughly disgusted with the ineptitude of the Dem party and find renewed hope with McCain and Palin! Their courageous, selfless form of governing is exactly what this country needs to bring people together in a prideful way. McCain/Palin ticket is already winning the older women's votes...they have mine! If Obama thought he would get problems with Clinton...he's already getting steamrolled by Biden's wanting to hog the attention with his big mouth (as evidenced on the Meet the Press interview). He made a very bad choice.
Great! I'm a 62 yr old wht male, and will now vote. I've been waiting for anyone with common sense. I hope Gov Palin runs for president in 2012. This will eat up Hillary...truth will always win. Sarah is a "people' attempting to be "for the people", by "the people". Obama just lost.
I am ready to hear Sarah speak. I believe she could be the best out of both parties. She is exactly what McCain needs. I love Sarah.
When they announced Palin as McCain running mate I was so thrilled I was moved to tears. What a smart choice, a breath of fresh air. The way the Democrats are attacking her and her family is just UGLY. They have fallen so low I think the party has self~ imploded totally now. I would be ashamed to say I am a Democrat today. Thank God I am an American and A Proud Republican and I will fight hard for McCain and Palin to WIN. I hope you will join us. Get excited ,come join the right party and help keep our country strong.
Gov. Palin is a strong ethical woman and her daughter is an inspiration for not having an abortion. I wish Gov. Palin could debate Obama and ask him what he was doing at 17. (cocaine?) He admits it in his book.
I have heard Senators McCainand Obama. I am excited to hear this courageous, principled proven leader debate Senator Biden. She seems to be a regular American with proven family values. I am an American female who is black. I don't identify with the PC term African-American for myself. Go Governor Palin!!!
Biden better not underestimate Palin's simple slingshot because, hunter that she is, she will aim her smooth stones of cleverness and intelligence right at his weak spots, and the arrogant giant will fall.

I feel I know who Obama and Mccain are and who they are not. I feel it is more important to have the most experienced and intelligent person with some moral fiber in the number one position. Does one hope if you put in someone who cannot handle the job and is not qualified; for whatever reason he does not stay there long and the number two person who has more qualifications takes over? Or do you elect the one who is qualified and ready and pray nothing happens so that the one who supposedly lacks experience does not have to step in? I would like to see more of the two supporting people who might have to take over. I feel if I learn more about these two I can better determine which pair would be the best to lead our company.
I'd like to see a debate between Sarah Palin and Nancy Palosi.
At long last, a REAL woman on the Big Ticket! I am so proud! All my friends have been snowed by Hillary all these years. She disappointed me because when all was said & done, Hillary was a woman who could have become the first woman President in HER OWN RIGHT even BEFORE BILL. But she "sold out" & became First Lady & then Senator but ALL on HIS "coat tails!" I used to be a "card carrying" liberal Democrat & a "card carrying" feminist member of NOW, until they left me for dead when I CHOSE to start my family. All they wanted was my money & my loud voice. So much for "pro choice"...they don't know the definition of the word! So I left THEM for dead in '93 when I saw through Bill's first budget & I haven't looked back since! All hail to Sarah! Talk about a game changer...she has put the "oomph!" in Election '08! p.s. I have a 4' x 8' McCain-Palin sign in my yard this year!
Palin can take all all the bull that's dished out,I am for you and all your family. stay strong.
Sarah Palin is America in a mirrow! No one is perfect and we can all relate to Sarah. The negative attacks on her will UNITE the country in her corner! I've seen it many times. The people who are aganist her are just displaying their FEAR of her! America will embrace Sarah all the more because of your hostile display of FEAR!!!!! Sarah Palin has more EXPERIENCE at governing than Obama, Biden and McCain put together! This couldn't be better for the Republicans if they had written and directed it!
I told Congress – I told Congress, “Thanks, but no thanks,” on that bridge to nowhere. If our state wanted a bridge, I said we’d build it ourselves. Well, it’s always, though, safer in politics to avoid risk, to just kind of go along with the status quo. But I didn’t get into government to do the safe and easy things. A ship in harbor is safe, but that’s not why the ship is built. Politics isn’t just a game of competing interests and clashing parties. The people of America expect us to seek public office and to serve for the right reasons. She did that? Well, no. When told that Congress had stripped funding for the bridge, she said she was still in favor of Congressional assistance for that and other Alaskan projects. And when that assistance didn’t materialize, she got all sour-grapes about it. When she finally canceled the $400 million project, Palin lamented the fact that Congress was not more forthcoming with federal funding. She said in a statement at the time: Despite the work of our congressional delegation, we are about $329 million short of full funding for the bridge project, and it’s clear that Congress has little interest in spending any more money on a bridge between Ketchikan and Gravina Island. Despite her claims to be a reformer and “govern with integrity”, Palin has kept up her relationship with indicted Seanator Ted Stevens, the father of the bridge to nowhere. He endorsed her for Governor in 2006 and, on July 2, 2008, Stevens and Palin held a joint press conference on energy issues. As Steven’s hugged Palin she said “I have great respect for the Senator… He needs to be heard across America. His voice, his experience, his passion needs to be heard across America–so that Alaska can contribute more.” Contribute more to what? America’s prison population? Republican coffers? What? Now, both John McCain and Lindsay Graham are repeating Palin’s claims. In response to Graham, George Stephanopoulos told him “But Senator, she turned against that, only she campaigned for it in her 2006 race, and turned against it in 2007 only after it became a national joke. “ Then there’s the shadow governor, Todd Palin. He sits in on legislative meetings dealing with oil company negotiations while he’s still working for BP. He took a very short hiatus back when Palin was first elected Governor but returned quickly to work citing the need for the “extra income”. The Governor of Alaska pulls down a six figure salary and the Palin’s own three houses - one residential and two recreational. Oh, I get it now - contribute more to lying to the American public. To serve for the wrong reasons.
It would be interesting to count the number of times Obama says "uhhhh" and "errrrr" when he debates McCain. He is always incoherent without a teleprompter.
I have to admit I was not too excited about the choices until Sarah came into the picture . . . I am so ready for someone to call goverment leaders into account. Palin has not only the talked the talk but she has walked the walk!!! Most of Washington can only talk . . .but never get around to action. Go Sarah!!!!
It's about time that we elect people to lead our Nation who care about moral values and regaining the trust of the American people. I feel as if our politics today are one big soap opera. And frankly I am sick of it. I want to be able to be proud of the people who lead our country. We should be striving to work together, instead of pulling out the shovels and seeing how much dirt we can dig up. We need to put back the "UNITED" in the United States of America. Instead of everyone giving a piece of their mind, let's work together to be able to have PEACE OF MIND. Where govenment once again will be a government of the people, by the people and most of all for the people AMEN
Biden/Palin will be interesting to say the least. She has the ability and intelligence to address any issue brought to her attention. My only hope is that the flow of the debate allows both VP candidates to fully address the topics and not give the "final word" advantage to only one side.
Palin is a ray of sunshine, in this snake pit of politicians. Thank you Anne B. for someone finally bringing up the Kennedy episode that media has always overlooked and excused him of, and why hasn't he withdrawn from his office as he should, he's not competent mentally to make decisions regarding my personal or national security, or any other matter. Are they waiting for another Kennedy to move to Mass. in order to inherit his seat? Shame on the press for never bringing this episode up.
Ditto Dan: Obama and McCain have been at it for MONTHS now; let's see how Biden holds up against Sarah!
I think she will make "moose burgers" out of Joe Biden and as interesting as that would be to watch it will ultimately come down to the qualifications and experience of the Presidental candidates. If I could only see one debate it would be McCain/Obama. Without a written script Obama never answers any question, he dodges every time.
Oh joy!! What fun! !!!!I have so enjoyed this campaign season even though it's been so long and drawn out. Palin is the most exciting candidate that I recall since I started paying attention to politics in 1979. The question to me is can she serve as commander in chief if necessary. I think so but we really need to see her hockey mom"pitbull with lipstick" side. Tear it up, Sarah!!!!!!!! Kristine D West Richland Washington
Greta, stand up straight......you appear to be leaning left...
the most promising value with a BIDEN/PAOLIN debate would be ETHICAL NEED BASED plain facts from PAULIN, over garbled hockey puck wordplay exasperations from BIDEN. AS A INDEPEPENDANT I AM WILLING TO VOTE FOR THE LESSER OF TWO EVILS............HOWEVER WITH PAULIN, THE PICTURE OF WHAT TO EXPECT IS WELL ABOVE "ANYTHING THE DEMOCRAT(S) HAVE TO OFFER, WE THE VOTING DELIBERATORS". YES', WE ALL NEED TO THINK UNITY...NOT SEPARATION....AND THAT IS ALL THE DEM'S HAVE TO OFFER. "IN GOD WE TRUST",AMEN
There is no substitute for the experience of John McCain and Sarah Palin. John McCain and Sarah Palin show strength, morals and perseverence. I am a single mom of three grown children. I have gone through breast cancer. Through perseverence and faith. I graduated from college and now continue to help my children, friends and family. My family is not perfect. We have had many problems through the years. We persevered. I have faith that John and Sarah will do what is best for everyone in this country. I am very disappointed in the articles I read in the Sun Times.
Palin's meteoric rise will shine everlasting! Why? Because she never sought national office and will achieve it. - signed - 58 year old confirmed bachelor, thirty-three year Alaskan resident.
Sarah Palin is a very down-to-earth woman. She is very courageous in taking on the establishment. She has crossed over party lines in alaska. That's something Obama hasn't done yet. I can't wait for her to debate Biden. She is stronger than Barack Obama. I think Obama is afraid of townhall debates with McCain. I think if he could get away with it, he wouldn't debate McCain on any issues. He would like to do commercials slamming McCain and Palin and go strait to November 4th election. I really don't see why the media has coronated this candidate like he is a king. I see through his fake rhetoric. Palin on the other hand, is plain spoken, direct , and honest. She would get my vote if one day she runs for president.
LET CNN AND MSNBC BARK ALL THEY WANT!!!! THEY ARE SO OUT OF CONTROL I AM GLAD MCCAIN SUPPENED HIS INTRVIEW WITH CNN, THEY ARE SCARE OF SARA LOOKING AND SOUNDING STRONG AND SMART AND MAKING OBAMA LOOK AS HE IS INEXPERIENCE AND PHONY THEY CAN'T OVER THAT HIS STUPID PRIDE AND WIFE WOULD'NT ALLOW HIM TO PICK HILLARY
Wahooooo! I can't wait to see Govenor Palin, "Wipe the Floor" with that snotty Senator Biden. I'm sure he'll make some snide sexist remark (he can't help himself), and then its "Game On." You can be assured, she will be able to answer any attacks that the "Left Wing" Socialist/Marxist (Progressives) formerly known as the "Democratic Party" will be able to ooze out from thier filthy mouths. Sorry, all the hate and lies that are spued from the left, will never change this country into a socialist society that gives away the American Hertiage. America, Love it or Leave it! As a matter of fact, you might try Kenya. "Tell em Barack sent'cha." And take MSNBC with you!
Although, I really love Sarah Palin and think her debate would be eloquent with Biden, I would rather see McCain chew up and spit out Osama...oops I mean Obama. McCain was BRILLIANT in his choice. Yes, we know what we are getting with McCain, but Obama can't speak without his teleprompter and he would reallly look like a dunce in front of the American people debating McCain. On a side note, Sarah Palin is invigorating and inspiring to listen to and I love what she stands for. It's a tough choice!
I was devastated with the Obama hype and had begun to think I wouldn't have a candidate to vote for. No one to get excited about. When I heard Palin's first speech, I was so excited!. I laughed, hooted and decided that I'm ready to get a McCain-Palin sign for my front yard. I love the fact that she knows how to field dress a moose, you don't even have to say anything about the NRA. LOL The fact she is a mom of five, normal experiences mom's everywhere can relate to, including a disabled child and a PG Teen. She's an OVERCOMER, not looking for the government to bail her out. The Democrats teeth are on edge from eating sour grapes. They are being seen by everyone for the weak, sad, angry people that they are. I hope they wake up and realize how pathetic their positions are. If they were humble they could change buses and vote for McCain-Palin and enjoy the victory with the rest of us. They'll benefit regardless, because McCain-Palin is good for the US of A. I'm thrilled.
Greta I have been a emocrat all my life. But because Hillary was not chosen I'm voting for Mr. McCain and Mrs. Sarah Palin. Obama tells his audience what they want to hear. Enedina Rivera From plano Texas
Double standard Dems as usual..Palin is getting burned at the stake by the liberal media, yet Biden is getting a free ride. (Check Hedge funds)... 20 years ago her husband got a DUI and by his own admittance 20 years ago Obama was doing drugs. Where is ths campaign going..Her single daughter at age 17 is 5 momths pregnant. Obama Mom at 17 was unwed and pregnant with him. I believe Hoopla speeches only is not the foundation needed to elect the President of the United States. We are not electing the family, we are electing only one member of it. The far left is nervous, they don't have foundation material and are using the media to change the subject.
I think Sarah Palin will pummel Biden...it will be a showdown we will be talking about for a very long time. She is a strong, willful, thoughtful, and very, very bright woman...and let's face it...women know how to win arguments! Especially us strong, aggressive types. Go Palin!
A few months ago, I viewed Gov. Palin on the news and was taken by her precise words and dedicated no nonsense views. She says what she means and means what she says. She is articulate and I don't feel like I am wasting my time when I listen to her. When it was announced that she was the Republican Vice President Nominee, I stood up and took notice. She is a woman of action. My Full Support and Best Wishes go out to her Family during this challenging time. Who ever is perfect can throw the first stone. America is about life's struggles and how you face them. As a Family, they are facing them head on.
Sarah is not assailable. That's why they are picking on her children. The liberal media is very scare, especially the Anchorage Daily News.
Think she could take on both Obalama & grumpy Joe. I couldn't be more delighted to cast my VOTE !! John McCain you have really pulled off a good one.
This was the greatest choice that McCain could have chosen! Her proven character and credibility is a treat to all liberals and Obama. I'd like to see Palin vs Obama. Especially, if, the question could not be previewed before the debate. Obama could not get through a single question because his thoughts are too scattered and he must think of all the ramifications before answering. Nothing is ever from his heart. At this point, McCain is not the issue it is Palin vs Obama.
I pity Sarah Palin, she is innocent and has done so good in Alaska, now she will be thrown into the national headlights and they can rip her apart., her daughter and daughter's boyfriend. Look Out ! I am going to vote for Obama but still have compassion for all those in the spot light.
Ok, about experience; Obama has experience, but Palin has more experience where it's important. She has run a town and a state (thus far) successfully. I still don't know what Obama has done; what's on his resume? And since both are said to be very intelligent, they both have the ability to learn what it takes to be a president. However, I do think it's more important to have a more experienced president on board than a vice-president. She will tell everyone her plan and can back it up because she's already "been there and done it", unlike Obama. I think the people of America will know who is more "able" to take the office of Vice President after her speech tomorrow. Go Sarah!!! PS. Not that it makes a difference, I am a female, but I vote for the best person, be it President or VP, male or female, and color? Who cares? I am an American first, and that's what I base my decision on, who is for America!?
barack bin laden is not worth anyones time, so lets see two real people, one shredding the other. palin doing the shredding hint hint

Would someone please explain to me why it's okay for Obama to spend two years telling me that experience doesn't matter...it's "judgement" that matters....that the "old ways" don't work...that we're only gonna change Washington is by bringing in new people with new ideas...yadayadayada...and then, when McCain selects a person who epitomizes all that Obama's been pushing, who just so happens to be a working mother...it's NOT all right? How Isn't Sarah Palin EXACTLY the kind of person Obama's been describing for the last two years??
The only way Palin would beat Biden is if he was intimidated by all those who want her to be treated as an EQUAL, but out of the other side of their mouths, insist that he not beat up on her because she is a woman. You cant have it both ways. Lets face it, what is she going to debate him on? Whether Moose meat makes a better stew than pork? Or is it better to fire your ex-brother-in-law yourself or muscle one of your staff into doing it. We KNOW she wont want to debate whether abstinence works or not. After all she has a living example of it right under her nose- its spelled B-R-I-S-T-O-L!
I'm a woman and a feminist and I'm absolutely livid over the way the media and Obama campaign is attacking Palin. The liberal democratics - who supposedly champion choice and equality for women - sure are showing their true colors now. What BS to go after Palin, questioning whether she'll be able to be VP since she has five kids (anybody ask male politicians that?), and going after her 17-yr-old daughter. How low can they go? Can't wait to see Palin debate Biden - she'll eat him alive. McCain/Palin get the vote of this feminist, pro-life, pro-woman, working mother!
Trying to get roads paved in the '90's, I spoke often before the Wasilla City Council and the "good ol' boys". But paving was only done on the mayor's & sheriff's & friend's roads. Then Sarah ran for Mayor with hand painted signs. She traveled door to door in neighborhoods where neighbors were 1/2 mile apart. She believed in and listened to "We The People". You bet she won and when she did, the little town with 2 stop lights was cleaned up. Roads were paved & new highways built. A new sewer & treatment facility went in. And ALWAYS her office door was open. When I moved in 2001, the little town had doubled in size, businesses had been built and were booming and, by the way, there were 13 stoplights. She got things done because she cared. She was one of us. GO SARAH!!!
We already know how a McCain-Obama debate would go. To be honest a Palin-Obama would be very interesting!
A debate between Sarah Palin and Joe Biden is a MUST for decision-making in this election. She will shrink Joe down to the depths of his cocky soul. I have voted in many elections and have never been so angry at what politics have become. The most angering is that politicians actually believe that we all are such sponge-brained idiots, sucking in their rhetoric of how they are going to "give" us all these goodies-FREE!! And, you know what-I am frustratingly reminded, when listening to some of the interviews, that there really ARE many sponges out there-give them a fantastic speaker, blowing all of the right whistles and the sponges are soaked, ready to march to the polls as little robots, gleefully awaiting for their Presidential hand-outs. NOT!! Give 'em hell, Sarah!!!
"IF MY PEOPLE, WHO ARE CALLED BY MY NAME, SHALL HUMBLE THEMSELVES, AND PRAY, AND SEEK MY FACE, AND TURN FROM THEIR WICKED WAYS, THEN WILL I HEAR FROM HEAVEN , AND WILL FORGIVE THEIR SIN, AND WILL HEAL THEIR LAND" 2 CHRONICLES 7:14 It gives me goose bumps to think Sarah is part of our answer and I am excited to know we still have some time to do what we MUST!! GO Sarah Go..... Praise GOD!! Bless God!! Heal this Land of ours!! America, land of the Free and home of the brave!!
GOd Bless America AND GOD bLESS tHIS sTRONG WOMEN SHAME ON DRAMAoBAMA SMEAR MACHINE, sHE IS GOING TO BE GREAT.
