Should the news that vice presidential nominee Sara Palin's teenage daughter is pregnant be such a big story?



Yes. Palin hits all the conservative talking points about family values and abstinence as birth control. She makes it an issue, so reports on her family life are fair.

No. Private family matters should not be part of an election, regardless of the candidate's politics.
