I was born and raised in New England, so without a doubt, it would be the foliage season. Nothing, and I mean NOTHING, beats New England from Sept-Nov. Absolutely spectacular.
My wife (born and raised in Texas) always chuckles when she see the word "hayrack ride". They called them "hay rides" when i lived in Houston. Her and some of her girlfriends just laughed when i said "hayrack". Now the joke is on my wife because she is surrounded by people in Nebraska that call it "hayrack ride".
