The TV 26 weather man - after being told by the Army Corps that the Industrial Canal was not being overtopped, said "I'm seeing the pictures and yes, it is"...



This is why I don't watch TV.

He clearly doesn't understand the concept of 'over-topping' a levee.

Incorrect information from amateurs can cost lives.

The weather man was right - I saw the water spraying up in the air, too!

I trust the Army Corps knows more about levees than the guy with the pretty face.

Their guy watching I-10 heading West said the empty road indicated the evacuation was 'going well'. Driving West was going into the path of the storm. D'uh.

Is being stupid a requirement to work on TV in New Orleans?

You're just jealous of people who work on TV.
