Do you think Senator McCain knew about Gov Palin's daughter's pregnancy BEFORE he selected her?

I think it can happen to anyone,stay at home moms or working moms. I don't know what effect this will have on GOP. Maybe knowing Obama said he would want his daughters to have an abortion rather than be saddled with a mistake will backfire on him. Maybe some of the religious right ,who shoud be the most forgiving, will say it is a poor example to our teenagers. The msm doesn't seem to have a problem adoring Angeleina Jolie or other celebraties having babies and not even thinking about getting married.

Very simple. He only met with her once. He was more interested in trying to get the Hillary voters instead of trying to get someone to balance his ticket with getting someone to help him with economy issues. She wasn't vetted, but she will be. This and her scandal with her ex-brother-in-law will come out. If this was Obama and his VP pick, the bloggers would be all over this. He wouldn't have had a chance.

The issue is that she tried to pass this child off as her own and prop up her anti-abortion position. It was a clear lie. Now they are trying to cover it up like it wasn't. So, I understand the anti-abortion position, but what about the children after they are born? Who is taking care of a 4 month old down baby? How is she supposed to take care of her VP job? And if McCain croaks, she is going to be president with all that responsibility? Talk about distractions!!! No disrespect of her accomplishments, but we need someone who is going to have more focus on their job.

The Democrats are not going to, this man has a whole lot of money behind him. He has not shown me any change, he went with someone from OLD Washington. Now I know why, I mean he has NO experience. He could and should has chosen Hillary but he didn't. He does not represent change to me, McCain showed courage with his choice of Palin. He said he was going to change Washington and by choosing Palin, he has shown mw that HE means what he said. He didn't take the EASY way, he stood by his word and chose a person who will bring a fresh set of eyes to the White House.

The issue is that she was claiming her 4 month old child was hers. It is coming out that it was her daughter's, so she lied to protect her image. Now that more of the facts are in about Palin’s daughter, I think the Planned Parenthood people will shut up about what works and what doesn’t work. Palin’s daughter said she went to all the sex ed classes, and even took the condoms that were handed out. She said all the kids do that. She said it obviously doesn’t work, and obviously THE ONLY THING THAT would have WORKED IS ABSTENENCE.

I do not condone children having children, but that being said, I don't think Palin's daughter's pregnancy should have caused McCain to reject her as his running mate whether or not he knew about it before he chose her.
