I FEEL THAT MCCAIN PUT A FEMALE UP FOR VP TO GET SOME OF THE 18 MILLION WOMEN VOTES THAT VOTED FOR HILLARY CLINTON. THAT WOULDN'T GET MY VOTE. I'VE NEVER EVEN HEARD OF HER. THERE WAS NOTHING MENTIONED ABOUT HER EXPERIENCE IN FORGINE AFFAIRS.

Go Obama-McClain is to old. His choice of VP was to tap into Hillary's "crack in the glass ceiling". I think Obama would make a great president. Look where Bush got us. VP chioce does not matter to me.

When McCain has been questioned about his age [the oldest candidate for a first term ever], he said that he realized the citizens concerns and for that reason his choice for VP would be someone who was ready to lead on Day 1. McCain has stressed that experience is important and he selected a running mate who is NOT the most qualified Republican that he could have selected and who is NOT the most qualified FEMALE Republican either. If he wanted to select a woman to "break that glass ceiling" then he should have selected the female Republican who was the most qualified. Even McCain's lieutenants who were interviewed this morning after the annoucement were unaware of who she was or anything about her and could not answer the questions about her posed by the news reporters. It is great that McCain selected a woman, but it is unfortunate that he did not select the most qualified woman. If by some chance McCain wins [and I hope that he doesn't], I will be praying for his health because God forbid that this unqualified woman has to take over.
