Why did Obama's acceptance speech not mention the anniversary of the MLK "I have a dream" speech?

Nobody told him it was the anniversary

Obama doesn't want to alienate the white racist vote

Blacks are going to vote for Obama no matter what, so no point

He was just reading his 'stump speech' and forgot to add it in

He ran out of time

You're a racist for asking.

He wanted to avoid any comparisons to MLK Jr

He isn't an African American - he's half white American, half African

He doesn't share The Dream of a non-racial America

For the same reason they hid most of the black faces in the nosebleed seats, far away from the TV cameras

It would point out that his mom judged his father by the color of his skin, not the content of his character
