Greatest Canadian rock band

To me this isn't even close. Rush in a landslide. Tom Sawyer is one the best rock songs of the 80s, although Living in the Limelight was my favorite. Moving Pictures one of the best albums. Hard to believe only three guys can put out that much power. Neil Peart was the man, and Geddy Lee's voice still haunts me to this day!

That's a tough one, Jeff. Overall, I think it would have to be Rush (there are a half dozen classic Rush tracks on my iPod right now), but I cast my vote for the kings of the power chord, Triumph. Very underappreciated and underplayed on mainstream radio. My brother still does some online media work with Rik Emmett, so I do have a slight bias. Allied Forces was one of the definitive "speaker testing" albums in my ear-damaging youth...
