The city (actually, the mayor) is already trying to run everything and tell the citizens what to do and how to do it. Recycling should be done, but it should be voluntary, with incentives to make it work.

The mayor already wants to control how we rake and clean our yards and how we keep our property outdoors, to give him power over how trash is collected and to penalize us for missing something or not doing it properly invites trouble.

Recycling costs more than it actually saves from what Ive heard. It's just a ploy for the City to fine people for not complying. (Follow the money (fees & Fines))

I'm sure the City won't bother checking who's trash is out of complience at apartment houses. Just fine the landlord. Typical heavy handed tactics. I feel I live in the old USSR when I think of what Fall River and Massachusetts have become and the direction we're going in.

Time for a change. Re-elect no one.
