IMO: David performing CRUSH during the concert in Kansas City

I doubt it just because it would not be fair to the thousands of fans that already saw the show. However, If it promotes Crush to a great extent, then I am for it being added to the show.

Since the article said "may perform" I doubt he will. The idol show is preset and the number of songs for each artist was predetermined. Yes it would be good to hear David's new release but not probable that changes will be made at this stage. Besides isn't Kansas City, MO Cooks home turf? They didn't even change any songs during Archie's home shows in UT. I dont think that would happen now. Not that we would mind of course.

IMO, it's a great idea. The problem is, David, so far, has not wanted extra attention brought to him. It'll be interesting to find out...can't wait!!!

I would be shocked if they did that. I think there would be a lot of upset fans that have already been to the concert before the release of Crush, and they didnt get to see him perform it. It would not be fair. David A. has the most attention as it is already, he doesnt need any more, he is so loved no matter what. Besides that is David Coook's territory, it would be a slap in the face for him, and I think David A. has too much respect for him to do that. I also think it would bring hard feelings from all the Idols, and nobody wants that. They would never admit that, but that would definately happen. Its the end of the tour, keep it as it is. Besides David is going to be traveling and promoting Crush right after the tour anyway.

I'm not quite sure why David singing a song, any song, would be a slap in David Cook's face. It's David "A's" new song and he should be allowed to sing it as long as Idol wants him to...maybe it's the Idol people who are encouraging it...who knows.

umm, i don't think it would be fair to change something this late in the game.
I mean, people paid for these tickets, i dont think any of his fans would appreciate him shunning the other cities he has passed up. Besides, his album is supposedly due out in November, he will probably go on tour sometime after, and sing "crush" a million more times on his own tour. I would just feel like left out if he sang it. Lastly, they ARE still technically under contract for AI, do you really think they would be allowed to add any of their own songs onto a tour, that has already been predetermined? It hardly matter, we will soon find out. As for me, I would LOVE to hear it performed live, but I highly doubt it will happen..
