Which came first?

Well i said egg because if you think about it, A chicken wont of laid a chicken before it even exists, sooooo something that is similar to a chicken but not if you get me would of laid an egg containing the first ever chicken... that is why the egg came fist ! God im clever !!!!?????

Well, I voted "egg" just to get it up to 50/50. But thinking about it, evolution happens when there's a mutation that ends up being beneficial to the species. So whatever it was that made that one mutated creature special, was the same thing that made it what we call a "chicken", as opposed to whatever it was that gave birth to that mutated egg. But it was mutated in the egg before it was born into a chicken. So the chicken came of the egg. =p
