It doesn't matter who Obama Vice President should be , he isn't going to win anyway..Now if Colin Powell were to run, he would be the winner hands down, let's write him in...FOR OUR PRESIDENT!!!!

Has anyone considered that it might be Caroline Kennedy??? Remember Cheney vetting the veep, only to become the veep??? I think she would be fabulous!

It could be Biden, Sebelius, or Kaine. But if Obama really wanted to spring a surprise, he could pick Clinton. She has been vetted more than anyone else. If it's a late announcement, this would work really well as no trial balloons are needed. Daschle would be even more of a surprise. He admitted that he's been vetted. He endorsed Obama fairly early. A good portion of Obama's staff are old Daschle folks. VP choices may not have much of an effect when it comes to carrying a state but Daschle might help with SD, which along with the Kerry states, Iowa, and NM would push Obama over the 270 mark. Couple of problems -- Daschle is (was?) a lobbyist after he lost his senate seat, and he doesn't exactly fit the change/outsider story line.

Most interesting thing is that Hillary isn't even on this list!

He would be wise to choose the 18 million vote getter. And then pray pretty please that the 18 million vote getter accepts.

His best choice should be Hillary. She'd make a great VP as she would have also made a great Pres.

Obama will win the election. The current polls leave out newly registered voters, young voters who don't have a traditional landline and other non traditional voters. I would agree that Hillary should be VP except she helped give McCain most of the negative ads he runs against Obama. Then there's Bill, who no one can control who probably has done many bad things since leaving office. Look I like Bill and Hillary, although I am disappointed at how they ran this campaign with all the dirty politics they had to endure. But, he won't pick her because of these FACTS. Get over it. I can't believe there are democrates that would rather have 4 more economically distressed years under McCain with a never ending war, unlimited scandal and government failures upon the American people, than Obama. Who cares about experience when you have made all the wrong decisions. McCain was part of the Keating5 read up on this. He was a mess up during the war. Frankly I think he is too unstable to be a good president based on what he endured. Remember he has a terrible temper. That's not who we need making life and death decisions God help us if he is elected.

Vickie, I have to say that you hit the point exactly. McCain is entirely too unstable to be our President. According to several people who have worked with him, he's not a nice guy. His temper is uncontrollable, and I understand why. Being a prisoner of war, he's got to have some mental issues from all of that. Personally, I don't think ANYONE who has ever been in the military should run our country. All of my friends who went over to Iraq have come back mentally unstable. Being conditioned to kill can really mess up your head. Also, on another note, I don't understand why people can say all these terrible things about John Edwards and Bill Clinton for cheating on their wives, while at the same time praising John McCain for being such a good guy. This is the same guy who returned from the Vietnam War, found his wife (the mother of his children, the woman who raised them while he was away) crippled, decided he didn't want her anymore so he cheated on her with a woman 15 years younger than she (his current wife). We can attack these other people but McCain is somehow a hero? He's a complete scumbag for treating the woman who raised his children that way. You won't see much of that on the news. And why? Because Obama has been trying to run a clean campaign this whole time. It makes me sick to know that the only way he will win this election is to stoop down to their level and run dirty politics. All because many American people won't take the time to actually educate themselves on the Candidates and the Issues. - Peace and Love - Obama '08

Obama's choice will most certainly be a good one, although he'll win regardless of who he chooses. The best cadidate this country has seen in years!
