The Senate of the United States has failed America. Top 2 issues with most Americans:

    1. Oil and Energy
    2. Immigration

The Senate has failed to make us energy independent. This could have been accomplished had we started 10 years ago. The Senate has seen to it that oil drilling has been silenced. Granted, the long term solution is alternative energy, but we need to be off foreign oil for our own economic well being.

The Senate has failed to protect the integrity of America's borders. No adequate security has been provided at border crossing options as is done at airports and seaports. The Senate is responsible for the mess we're in.

Conclusion: Why are any Senators seen to be fit to lead this country - any?
Obama, McCain, Clinton, Bayh, name the Senator.

A leader is a servant of the highest order. None of them have served much of anyone in America but themselves. They deserve to be tossed out of office, not promoted to the highest elected offices in America!

Michelle....I wish your last name were Obama. Kennedy would be nice, and it would wax deep nostalgia but she and Obama together don't represent the level of experience that Biden brings. If he wants to win, and he does, I think he needs Hillary--who I fn hate now--or Biden, who I have always loved for his "maverick," disposition. I think McCain's choice will be, like him, un-inspiring.

I agree with Michael Moore: Caroline Kennedy would be a great, courageous, historic and culturally resonant choice. Obama/Kennedy bumper stickers would sell out in seconds, and the Democratic base would be united in memory of the past and hope for the future.
