I'm afraid it's all too true that too many voters will vote for the guy they'd rather go out with for a beer.
As a Massachusetts Bleeding Heart Liberal of Old School Standing, I'd still rather go for a brew with McCain than Obama.
Where does the Democratic party dig up these stiffs? I thought that Kerry was about as animated as a cigar-store indian, and Obama is only slightly better. If Mrs. Clinton manages to smile and flash a little leg at the convention, she may just drown Obama's candidacy at birth...
Still, I'm not entirely as stupid as as least fifty percent of the electorate has been in the last two elections: any hope for change will come from Obama, and he has my vote.
The problem is people are just asking for one quality for a president, but they shouldn't accept less than four of those qualities from the person/persons that are supposed to be leading their country.
