Favorite Italian in Richmond area?

Interesting Poll question about favorite Italian food in Richmond. I have to say my personal favorite is not listed on the limited selections. What ever happened to independently owned family Italian Restaurants being some of the best in the area? Fine Italian Food doesn't mean it is the best. I picked La Grotta as my selection but had Italian Kitchen been listed, I would have selected this establishment in Mechanicsville as my choice. The restaurant has been around since 1950 and proves to offer some of the best in down home Italian cooking. Make the trip to find this hidden gem of a restaurant.
