Are You In Favor Of Our September Volunteer Month Idea?

I am for helping mobilize Huckabee supporters, but do think a standard should be set for whom they can help. You might have Obama maniacs taking advantage of this publicity and promoting him. I realize that many hours will be given for candidates that do not come up to the standard of Huck pac endorsed candidates, and necessarily so in many cases since the alternatives are often terrible options. But maybe you should have a litmus test on a few common sense and/or vital issues for the candidates that could qualify, that would distinguish those who on balance would help the nation and those who would tear it down. One of those I would suggest would be candidates who will commit to judicial appointments who would support the constitution rather than reinterpret it.

I love the idea! I have already been 10 times more involved this election than all of my voting years put together! Tomorrow I participate in my second local parade to support the Republican Candidated for Governor in Washington State- Dino Rossi. It was so much fun, my fellow King County Young Republicans and I are stepping out again. We are doing doorbelling and stuffing of envelopes in the Fall. I look forward to logging my hours. This is a great idea and I hope lots of people participate in supporting the work of good conservatives.
