I live in FL and approve "off shore" drilling but Obama can't make up his mind to drill or not. As a lifelong member of a WHITE church, I have personally witnessed other so-called Christians (both pastors and congregants), saying bad things about blacks and other minorities. Both candidates have changed their minds on issues (either because of new information or to try to gain votes), but that's not the question you asked. And people need to stop misquoting people and statistics and putting offensive comments in your poll. Don't you have a moderator? To address the issue you actually asked about, I voted that McCain has been more negative because of the "celebrity" ad. That was 100% uncalled for. It has nothing to do with who would be a better president. I'm a high-school teacher and am more used to that kind of snarky comments from my 15-year-olds.

Gail, if you think the "Celebrity" ad was negative enough to make you turn away from McCain, you haven't seen anything of Obama's yet. That ad portrayed the celebrity status of Obama. I base my decision on what the candidate says and what he does. His recent trip to Europe proves that. The media went overboard. People are curious when they see cameras and press people. Could you imagine the excitement and curiosity aroused when people see an endless line of media trucks and security "invade" their city? That trip was a farce. That was just for photo opportunities to make sure his "Greatness" was well-documented for historical purposes. You say you are a teacher, you should be able to discern what is real. There is a big difference between an orator and a communicator. Did you hear him tackle questions at the Saddleback church interview? Why does he stammer so when asked direct questions? He has great difficulty stating his position on issues because he wants to say what he thinks would please his audience at the moment. He always follows his response with a "thesis" . As a matter of fact, after that interview, a suggestion was made to do that again but to make sure that respondents just give 10-word answers to a simple question. Under Hillary's photo, he writes: The Clinton Plan will only save families about $25.00, etc. Does he not realize $25 could help us greatly today and not 4 years? He says the Clinton Gas Plan is not intended to get you through the summer, it is intended to get her through election." We all exclaimed: Does not this man realize that they are from the same party and that they have to work together after the primaries? Well, unbeknownst to us, the DNC, not only the media, had already picked their nominee? No wonder, he was acting like the Chosen One. This flyer made us realize even more that Obama is not the man for the job. He was out to destroy anybody or anything that gets in his way. The central theme of his campaign was to CHANGE Washington. So he picks Biden who has been in Washington for 36 yrs, longer than McCain. His justification is that Biden is an outsider because he goes home to Delaware everyday. I expect this typs of explanation a 4-yr.old. A am voting for McCain/Palin.
