What makes you more suspicious of Caylee's mother?

Where is Caylee's father in all this? There hasn't been a mention of what his involvement is in her life, if any.

Perhaps she had a pool party and Kaylee drowned because she wasn't being watched. Then perhaps the mother panicked and put her in the trunk of the car and disposed of her later.

The father is supposed to be dead. Died in an auto accident but he was never involved with his little girl.

I believe she said she doesn't know/care where the father is.

This whole family is involved in this crime. I think the grandparents know exactly what happened to Caylee....they are protecting the mom. They all belong in jail for good.

Supposedly Caylee's dad is dead. Cindy Anthony said last night that it was a mutual decision for him to not be involved in the kid's life at all, in any way, size, shape, or form. Cindy Anthony also said that he had passed away sometime in the last few months to year. I think Casey Anthony sold the kid or killed the kid. At first I was suspicious of the grandparents, but they just seem like they believed what ever Casey told them until it was too late. I hope they find the little girl Caylee.

Yes, I agree. Now it seems that the little girl drowned and the mother got rid of the body in a panic. Like all lies, it snowballs and she is up to her neck in lies and false stories. I think the grandparents have an idea but don't want to give up hope to save their daughter. They now she is lieing and she is bad!

I feel the mother is not telling the truth why did she wait so long to report the grandchild missing and also why didnt she tell the police when she made the 911 call that she felt her granddaughter was missing or that something didn't seem right.

I feel Cindy Anthony's behavior is very suspicious. Her husband's, too. I feel likt they know a lot more than they're letting on and if they don't, I cannot for the life of me understand why they continue to believe Casey's stories. I would think they would be frantic about this child's disappearance. Nothing about this case makes any sense at all and, while her mother was first out partying and now sitting in jail wasting time, there is a little girl out there somewhere - alive or deceased.

My thought is that this mother accidently left her child in a car while she shopped with her mothers stolen money and she died in the hot car and then the young mother has just plotted this whole story to cover it up ever since.

This girl is guilty..unfortunate for little Caylee. To borrow a shovel from the neighbor, how odd, i;m sure her dad had a shovel in his garage or two sheds, why would she borrow one, and were did she put it, did she return it? This 22 yr. old is an airhead. She probably couldn't get a baby sitter so she put her daughter to sleep and then put her in the trunk.. Then probably got wasted which it appears she's good at and didn't get back to the child until late the next day at which time the child was dead. It's a shame but i'll bet that's what happened.

Are there records of cell phone towers showing that the mom was outside or near the police station at the time of the first call.

Question: If the baby sitter doesn't exist, then exactly where wass the child when her mother was out and around? The grandparents worked so they weren't watching the child. I have been watching from the beginning and I was very upset with the grandparents from the start but now I find that I'm not so upset with them because they were obviously in complete panic. After hearing the grandparents speak with reporters, it is very clear that there is something mentally wrong with both of them. They are acting extremely bizarre- they appear to be "playacting" and want to see how far they can go with their story! there is a 3 year old missing! if a man can be charged for the murder of their missing wife- why is it taking so long to indict the daughter for the murder of her daughter!! I hope the police and the FBI are working non stop to find her! and I am praying she is alive- one last thing- I think that maybe she was sold- they would know she was alive, but they wouldn't know where she was!

Everytime I see or hear Caylee's mother on TV, my head starts spinning. That woman should be a used car salesman. I am always confused even more after listening to her. I think they are all shy a few bricks in the head. I bet the law enforcement is so aggravated with all this crap......

This mother and grandmother is getting on my last nerve. They will not tell the truth! How do they think we can help them find a child if they can't give us the information. I am in Texas and have been looking at every little child to see if it is this beautiful little girl. I think this child is gone. My prayers are with the family...even if she did kill her own baby, she needs prayer too.

There has obviously been a history with this girl and her behavior; no one takes the time to report missing gas cans. The child, unfortunately, is dead, and it appears that her own Mother has killed her. Her parents reaction to this situation indicates they have had a history with this girl-22 years old, no college, no job, lies; sad for the precious little girl whose body will probably never be found.

Why on earth would it take a mother over a month to say her small daughter is missing??? I would be frantic within a few minutes!! Even if I thought I knew who had her, I certainly would not wait a month! That's just not right.

I think Casey isn't saying anything as of yet is because she is in the lime light. I think she knows where Caylee is but not saying anything. And the dad,where is he in all this.Everyone is focussed on Casey but we don't even know what the dads name is.

I think if the media quit providing attention to this narcisitic family, the truth would come out. Every single one of them talk in circles and appear VERY dishonest! I have not seen one tear shed by anyone, except when the mother appeared before the judge. Those tears were likely for herself and NOT this poor child who is missing. Do they even care? I think the little girl either droiwned by accident in that pool or she was left in the car and died from heat exposure. I have been watching alll the news and I think the little girl accidently died and the mother burried her somewhere close. I also think the grandeparents know about the accident. I do not think they helped bury the liottle girl. I think the brother helped her bury the little girl (because of the coded conversation over the phone.) I do not think the grandparents know where she is buried. The mother is clearly hiding something. She is tongue tied. The husband is to scared to talk about it. The search is a big smoke screen.

I think that Caylee fell asleep in the car and the mother went to visit her boyfriend. When she came out of his house, Caylee was dead and she put her in the truck because she panicked. This is just my theory.

Father was a husband or parent. Got her pregnant and was no longer involved in the upbringing of the child. Later died in car accident. She's guilty - she killed Caylee. I think the grandparents tried to protect Cassie but are speaking out now for he love of Caylee. They're coming clean. I don't think they were involved in the murder.

Hi Greta, From what I understand investigators put their stories together like puzzle pieces, and nothing fits together at all to the story being told either by Casie or her lawyer. What does add up, sadly like a puzzle is that something set this mother off to drown her own daughter, then panic and look for help. In the end it seems that she borrowed a shovel to finish off this horrible deed of hers. The Mom killed the baby and the grandparents are covering, the grandma is really a whack and papa never opens his mouth. I believe the baby is better off.

The mother appears to have no conscious. He has expressed no concern for her own child. I do not know any mother with such lack of concern and compassion for their child. I can not believe her family is so certain that what she is saying is true information. The only reason I can think they would be so certain is their concern and compassion for their child.

I only know that if it were my baby, or my grandbaby, I would be hard pressed to be able to wait the 24 hours to report her missing. And waiting 5 weeks!!!??? THAT alone speaks volumes in itself. NO mother worried about her child could possibly wait 5 weeks to report (and start the search) for her missing little girl! And as far as her behavior is concerned......it certainly isn't one of worry or greif! She either did something to the baby herself or at least knows what happened, and it's painfully obvious she could care less!

The grandmother's behaviour alarms me the most. I believe all of her calls to 911 were staged. Each call seems rehearsed. Suporting my suspicion that her calls weren't true alarm is the fact that she is so adverse in attitude with the media now. She seems hostile herself. And I beieve that she knew the 911 calls would be part of an alibi and evidence, as she was creating them. Staging a story.

I don't think the parents are implicated, I just think they are in complete denial. In their hearts, they have to know. The daughter is going to crack soon. I just hope that heinous excuse for a mother will lead them to the little body so she can be laid to rest in dignity. What a horrible tragedy. We need to check WHERE the mother was on June 16 when the daughter went missing, between those frantic phone calls she made on her cell. The mother doesn't seem to be a killler, maybe she left her in the car because she was asleep in her car seat and the mother went shopping or to a hairdresser, or mall or club, and when she returnd, what did she find and what did she do...check out cameras at stores for her car.

Compare Caylee's mother and grandmother's composure to Chandra Levy's mother. Mrs. Levy looked a total wreck in trying to find her daughter and spoke in distraught with the situation for weeks. Caylee's grandmother (Cindy) is way to well groomed and comfortable with this situation!

I believe that the baby drowned and was put in the trunk of the car. Since I heard that the car was backed up in the driveway and that was unusual, I belive that the baby's mom fell asleep or was on the phone and forgot about her baby. It may have been accidential but by now she has told so many tails that I believe she is afraid of the truth.

I worked in public health, specifically in child injury and unexplained death--I think some sort of unintentional injury occured--a drowning, or perhaps she was left in a hot vehicle or some other unintentional event occured. The mother, unable to confront her guilt and lack of responsibility, has disassociated. Just an opinion, but one always hopes for the very best--that she is still with us.

I think it is high time that Cindy Anthony tells the truth about what she knows. I was at the County office the other day and both of my girls were with me. They are ages 15 and 8. I was walking out of that office to go up stairs and I looked back and the 8 year old was not where to be found. I panicked and starting breathing fast and asking her sister are you kidding me, where is your sister. I went back into the office and she was playing on the computer. So NO I don't understand the mother's response to everything.

Is there a history of drug use in Casey's past. Casey appears to be bi-polar - rapid fire talking with not much meaning to what she says. Also, could the little girl have taken something to stand on to reach the pool and have fallen in. Children are oh so curious. I am a care taker for someone who is bi-polar, so I know the symptoms.

I've noticed the dog on the back of the sofa when the grandparents were talking, so what about the idea of getting a German Sheppard that sniffs out things and get some of the clothes of the little girl to see if the girl is near. Again, I'm not thinking the worst here, but if the mom was able to take the grandmother's car and steal money from the grandmother's bank account what isn't the little girls mom capable of... Isn't it interesting that the missing child's name, (CAYLEE) is a combination of Casey & her brother's name?? Hmmmm. This family has been colluding with their emotionally disturbed daughter for years as evidenced by the outrageous manner in which Casey speaks to her mother. The stolen gas can incident reported by the father is strange. The mothers behavior before being jailed and while in jail, is strange. The mother lying to the police about her jobs etc., is strange. Question is, does all this circumstantial evidence add up to guilt ? Perhaps, the mother is just a mentally disturbed woman who foolishly did hand her daughter over to the wrong person. Its possible that she just wanted to be free to hang with her new boyfriend at the club and irresponibly just dumped her child with people who knew shew was unbalanced.

Not only am I suspicious of the mother, I am suspicious of the crazy grandparents as well. Who would know better how to cover up a homicide than a former homicide detective? Not only that, but the entire family portrays an attitude that they are smarter than everyone - law enforcement, FBI agents, and the news media. It's outrageous. I am completely capitivated by this saga, and can't wait to see the mother charged with this crime. Sadly, I think they will only find poor Caylee dead. And not only that, I hope they charge the grandparents with obstruction of justice as well. They are disgusting.

What is the excuse why the police have waited so long for the latest search of the home? Has there not been enough foul play with national cases to give them reasonable cause to proceed with a more thorough investigation just with the bizarre behavior of the mother alone? Missing for a month, report of foul odor in the trunk, borrowing of neighbor's shovel, unwillingness of the mother to tell the truth or show appropriate emotional response...c'mon do you really need a degree in law enforcement to proceed?

Ladder may indicate Caylee was swimming there, shovel may indicate something was dug up - maybe buried in the back yard. Casey's comment "she's close" may be pointing to it. God, I hope not! Its obvious that the mother (Casey) is disturbed I think the kidnapped scenerio is a ruse and I feel that Caylee accidentally died due to the Mother's neglect one way or the other and has been disposed of somewhere. I don't think the grandparents were involved. They only know what their daughter will tell them and she probably feels too guilty to tell them the truth. The grandparents were the ones to call the police in spite of trying to believe their daughter. You can see their struggle between their extreme worry over their missing granddaughter and the possible horror that their daughter may have done something terrible or accidentally to her.

This mothers comments to questions just do not make sense. She is holding alot of things back that may never come out. With the way kids live now days things do not matter to them. By her actions her child did or does not matter to her at all except that it is going to get her in trouble. I can not see why kids have children that they do not want or cramp their style. This story is not going to have a happy ending at least for the child that if she did not want many other women would be glad to have that child and take care of it. The mother is guilty to the bone.

This seems to be the most bizarre case that Greta has ever covered. It would be interesting to know more about Casey's mental health by history and currently. I think we all hope that she sold Caylee, but this whole family seems so weird, the outcome is likely to be unfortunate.

I don`t remember a time when a 'case' has bothered me as much. Your granddaughter is missing, you`re getting a run around from your daughter about her whereabouts. Finally you call the authorities. Now the childs mother is in jail. Shes`s having a hard time composing a letter that may help the police find the child? This whole case, the time line, (didn`t the grandparents wonder where Caylee was when the daughter moved back home?), the behavoir of the daughter, (any innocent parent wouldn`t be able to function if their child is missing) and the behavoir of the grandparents is so messed up, I`m ready to pull my hair out. Come on people, How can you not believe the mother has nothing to do with her daughters disappearance. She is asking for immunity instead of just telling what she knows in order to find this child. If she was really scared for her daughter, she sure didn't look like it at the club. If my child was missing I would be on the streets 24/7 until I found her, not in a club partying with what she calls friends. I pray that Caylee is found and thats she is okay, but I'm afraid the outcome will not be that. If Casey is responsible I hope she gets the maximum sentence.

This story reminds me of Susan Smith. Years ago, she put this whole country through emotional trauma looking for children that she had drown. The difference is Susan Smith was ONE sicko, here we have an entire family of sickos and liars! Oh what webs we weave.......

I believe the grandmother knows something and wants to her daughter some time to come clean on her own. I feel the whole family is on this horrible crime and sounds very much like they are reading a script. question iswith all the media,publicity, talk shows magazines, books that Casey and her family are in jeopardy with money problems and possibly the baby will be safe and Casey will meet whoever has her. 2. " Zany' at first I thought could have been Zanax a drug Casey gave her daughter to sleep in the car and she died. Somhow I knew she was lying and could have been so-called Zaneida and she needs to talk to Tony because he knows something and the questions the FBI asked need to be directed differently. Around the families home like I said to check and her rooms,baby's room also. and the credit cards where 45,000 was stolen. I hope that this jury isn't tainted so she can get a fair trial because if she killed her baby ,she should go Death Row and all involved should be charged. The Pollyana in me wants to believe that Caylee was snatched by someone Cacey knows and that Cacey cannot provide any true facts to authorities without jeopardizing the life of Caylee. That may be why she has been a habitual liar all along. Realistically, the chain of events in this case can lead to only one sad and tragic conclusion: Caylee is no longer alive, and that Cacey had something to do with it, albeit accidental, unintentional, or deliberate. That too also explains why Cacey has been a habitual liar all along. When Cacey said that Caylee is "close" and "safe," these words indicate that Cacey knows where Caylee is but "safe" may not mean to you and me what she really means. Safe from any further harm. Safe in heaven. Safe from all bad things. Hopefully, the Pollyana in me is right.

It is apparent that the mother is directly involved with the disappearance of the child. Have investigators taken sworn testimony or statements from the grandparents and uncle. Maybe immunity should be offered to them because from the outside it appears that they know more than what they are saying, especially the uncle. Casey may have furnished them some points to lead to evidence. It is sad that thegrandparents and uncle have been put thru this. Have they really verified that the "out of the picture" father really deceased?

Gretta, I think the parents have a gut feeling their daughter has done something terrible with or to the grandaughter. I think they are just acting supportive of Casey to get her trust ,hopefully,so that at some time Casey will confide the truth to them since she won't talk to anyone else. Do you notice that the grandmother never really looks you in the eye when she is talking. It's all a sham but I believe it is a sham to get to the truth. That is why it appears that she is wierd or lying about things. Her belief that the grandauhter has been abducted is all a sham. hey fox this case "grinds my balls", but the first thing i thought about this case was that casey soled the daughter, but after i saw the news i thought kaylee is on hostage and the family is trying to keep her safe but i am very mad that people in the family aren't showing care...... but FOX, thats what "grinds my balls"

I agree with Deb, the mother probably left Caylee in a car and when she found her dead, she likely paniked and got rid of the body. However, I can't imagine why the parents or the police can't get the her to admit to the truth. I feel that she must be a habitual lier and doesn't ever tell the truth, she probably wouldn't know the truth if it hit her in the face. The parents of Casey are covering up for her, they can't admit the truth either.

How could a mother and grand parents not get worried or show emotion if there child was mission for a month? I just don't understand how the grandparents can believe all of Casey's lies. If my daughter was missing, my Mom would throw me under a bus if it meant finding out what happened to her. Could this Casey person really have that much control over her parents? It's totally insane!

I think Casey is lying. She is using this whole horrible situation and adding to it as time goes by, like as if she is making a movie and watching everyone acting it all out. Everyone is right , The Entire Family Lied , can't believe anyone of them . If Casey needed a babysitter why didn't she ask her parents? I think Casey is guilty of harming this child. If she loved this child she would have went straight to the police herself and let them know Caylee was in danger and not to let anything out until they find her! Police would have protected this child and not realeased anything to public, until they found her. I believe she has harmed this child and it doesn't look good. I believe the gas cans will end up being part of her evilness. I think Casey is "wild" and the little girl was in her way and she was jealous of her, for some unknown reason. Another theory I have is she may have left Caylee in a car or maybe even had taking her swimming and something happened to her, she has freaked and done something with her. She don't want to be blamed for a freak accident happening. Because she knows how much her family loved her! Any "smart" person or mother that did not want her child should give them to family or someone who does love her and want to take care of her. I believe Caylee had an accident due to Caysey's negligence and Caysey panicked and disposed of little Caylee. One lie led to another and another. "Oh, what a tangled web we weave when first we practice to deceive." The issue of the father is fishy. I don't think it would be too far fetched to say that her brother could possibly be the father. I believe Casey must have done something wrong, either accidently or on purpose. But one of the MANY things that are odd about the whole situation is that she said she left Caylee with "the nanny" Zenaida Gonzalez. While Zenaida says she doesn't even know her. It seems like an unusal name to pull out of thin air. Are they sure the "nanny" had nothing to do with this?

If the child was kidnapped, the mother should have said it the very first time she was interviewed. But Casey changes her story everytime she open her mouth. It's her own flesh and blood, she should fear God and start telling the truth.

Did anyone ever wonder why was there a pizza in the trunk of the car. I think the " phantom babysitter" for poor Caylee WAS the trunk of the car while Mom was out partying & left this little soul to feed herself dinner there to top it off out of sight from everyone. We all know what the horrific outcome of that would be. I think that there is a lot more that the grandparents are involved with regarding the event's that led to this girl leaving & disappearing with little Caylee probably demanding that Casey stay home to be a mother to her & she didn't like like. One more note, Anyone remember the Susan Smith case who claimed her kids were taken during a carjacking & found in the river....Scott Peterson whose wife "just disappeared", & Stacy Peterson whose creep husband has the nerve to laugh at everyone in this country claiming his wife just up & left.

I have to ask why when Cindy took Casy to the police station and could not get in, She stated that she just sat there.. With her husband being a retired policeman why she would not call him???

Could Kayly and Kaycee been swimming and the mother went inside and the child died? She then panicked called the mother and father over and over again but did not get through. She then decided to bury the child but came back a few days later and borrowed the shovel from next door and dug the child up and put her in the trunk after backing up the car in the driveway.

I've dealt with police before and they are yahoo cowboys with one track minds. They let our bad guy go. They did not even bother to look for the physical evidence for five months. The only reason our case got solved was red handle's. Everytime I ever deal with police for anything I feel like I'm talking to idiots! It is very frustrating and no longer worth reporting crime. I know from experience police slant reports mighty hard and I would also exercise my right to silence!

The behavior of Cayley's mother, Casey, is the major red flag in this entire case as she hasn't displayed one ounce of worry regarding her child, and ALL of the "information" Casey provides has proven to be lie upon lie.

i think the behavior of the Mother,Grandmother,and Grandfather is all way too suspicious. i watched the interview of the grandparents last night, and the grandmom hardly ever looked greta in the eyes. The grandad was kool and calm, and i cant get the imagine of the mother in the courtroom at one point, and she was actually smiling, then another shot she was laughing with her lawyer sitting with her. How can you not see your daughter and grandaughter for a month and not do something about it before 30 days time. Please, i think all 3 of them are involved in someway or another. maybe the grandparents werent originally involved, but i do think they are keeping information that their daugthter has told them from the authorities. the first time i saw the grandmom interviewed, she had all her make-up on, eye shadow etc...i have a 10 yr old grandaughter. if she was missing for over a month, putting my make-up on for TV would be the last thing i would think of. i have not one time see either grandparent be emotional,.ITS NOT NORMAL!

Unfortunately, I agree something probably happened to Caylee while in the care of her mother (not a babysitter they can't seem to locate!). Who knows what Casey was into or doing while she and Caylee were away from her parent's home. She was more interested in going out partying than being a responsible mother. HOW CAN YOU NOT REPORT YOUR DAUGHTER MISSING FOR 31 DAYS!!! And it is so apparent after hearing Cindy's initial 911 calls that she doesn't trust her daughter... and now she does!!!???? The bottomline is Casey's actions leading up to this are all suspicious and she is completely selfish and untruthful. Just tell the truth about your adorable daughter. My heart breaks for Caylee - she is truly an angel, and she is in my prayers. I only hope and pray that there can be closure to this very soon. THEY ARE ALL NUTTY!! Besides the CONTROLING Grandmother, the Grandfather that doesn't say too much(only allowed to speak at certain times?) - but at least informational at times, the Son/brother that we haven't barely heard anything- just a tape from the jail conversation and the SO-Called Mom of Casey who doesn't show much concern visually, verbally or can't even write a letter....... hmmmm major Family issues. But, even if she was kidnapped, as a MOM wouldn't you trust the police MORE than the kidnappers and tell them SOMETHING to help get her back. The kidnappers supposedly said they're already going to hurt her.... if she had been using drugs - they would have found that out by not right???? I was thinking she may have needed money and sold her daughter.... she wasn't getting all the attention and her 3year old was........ So , the lies about the : shovel, gas can, phone, times, places, baby-sitter, job, AND so on..... there have got to be MORE lies. The grand-parents are covering even more for other lies or the daughter finally, recently snapped. PLEASE have them dig up the recently poured concrete in the Grandparents backyard or check it out. Please find out about the BOYFRIEND...... haven't heard anything about him. EVEN the friends........... someone has got to be able to GIVE a little more information with out protecting the MOTHER.....Did she quit her last job or get fired? ..........why? If Caylee's grandpa is a former homicide detective, then maybe he helped Casey bury the kid's body after a tragic accident. Just like other people have said, maybe she left the kid in the car, the kid died, and so she panicked. She got her dad to help her. Caylee's grandma won't make eye contact with the camera, but she sure has no problem yelling at the press and complaining because she says they burned her before and they should be ashamed of themselves. I think she should be ashamed of herself for letting this drag on like this. If Caylee's mother is a nutjob, she needs to be locked up and have the key thrown away.

The mother does not look a bit scared, nor worried. Not normal. She almost looks like she has pulled off a good one. If it were my child would be beside myself. Can only say, think the grandparents, especially the grand mother, knew something was wrong with her daughter but, tried to be silent to see the grand daughter. Then waited to late to try to stop her daughter before disaster hit them all. When she knew something was wrong tried to act fast but, knew something was wrong. The daughter is not acting normal at all. If something happened one can only wonder if it was the daughter getting back at her parents, or punishment for them. Can only say, I have a daughter-in-law that does this and live in fear most of the time. One fears to turn them in and nothing will happen and not get to see the grandchildren at all or wait until it is too late and something horrible happens. Been there and have seen that look. It is a look of someone who is gleeful almost that she has hurt you. I think the child is safe, I pray, and it is her getting back at the mother. A terrible triangle and awful for all involved but, have seen it myself. Watch her face while she is in handcuffs....not one fearful for herself, nor anything else...just wickedly delighted she pulled one. I pray for the child and for the family. There are so many mentally ill out there and the hands of the family are many times tied for fear of loosing the child completely or for causing more damage to befall them.

Why didn't Casey say something about Caylee being kidnapped when she supposely was kidnapped and get the law-in-forcement involved then. Any mother in her right mind would have done it right then. And where was Casey and Caylee when this suppose kidnapping took place and why?

Why doesnt the police take them all to jail , separately for a few days , and maybe someone will break down and tell the truth .

The bottom Line is that Caylee is missing. Theres three things that could be the outcome. 1 shes found Alive . 2 Shes found Dead and 3 Shes not found at all. So with that why is no one looking at the big Picture. Daughter missing for a month, broke into shed to get gas tanks , but couldn't get the shovel that the grandmother said in the interview that there shovel was locked in the shed along with the gas tanks, and then that she borrowed a shovel from the neighbor's. HMMM so who was the accomplice to this. My guess is something happened to the little girl, mother freaked out and got the gas tanks went out of town burned the remains and someone helped her bury the rest of the remains. I'm sorry Greta but someone that runs out of gas and borrowed tanks for that wouldn't leave full gas tanks in the car and other belongings in there too. So who was with her????

I think Casey drowned Caylee and buried her in the yard. Then made a flurry of phone calls to say she drowned. When she couldn't reach anyone, she cooled off. Then she thought of something else, went back to the house, backed her car in so she could dig Caylee up and put her in the trunk of the car. She made another flurry of phone calls possibly only to make sure no one would come home and catch her moving the body. She borrowed the shovel and got that done and then broke into the shed to get the gas cans to burn the body and possibly ciphoned gas out of the car and might have dug a hole, burned the body and covered it up and ditched the car. When she says Caylee is "close" it's because she's near where the car was found. But then, I thought Patsy Ramsey killed Jon Benet so my family says I watch too much tv. Naturally, I pray I'm wrong and Casey made up this whole thing to get a month off with a new boyfriend and Caylee will be back - I know the Grandparents are in denial about all of it and are in no way responsible for the lies - we'd have to know what they have chosen to believe that Casey has told them for them to not face the reality of what could have happend to their beloved Grandchild. Obviously, Casey has had a strangle hold on this family for a long, long time. The Grandparents seem to have embraced a grandchild born out of wedlock and continued to coddle Casey and not expect anything from her as an adult or as a parent.

Does anyone involved in this case have any emotions?? I have never seen such cold people--If my grandchild was missing I would be beyond emotion. Cindy talks in an even mono while George pets the dogs!!!!This case is so full of lies and the strangest group I have ever seen. Here's my theory.... Casey was present when either something happened to Caylee, or she did something to harm Caylee. Either way, Casey has concocted this whole "babysitter" story to stall for time. Now all of a sudden, Casey is telling her mom that Caylee is "in danger". So, if they ever do find Caylee (I'm still praying that she's alive and well, but I'm doubtful) Casey probably thinks that she's introduced enough doubt to never be convicted of a crime. She's hoping that the authorities are never able to prove or disprove the babysitter story, so there's your reasonable doubt, however shaky it may be. I never said Casey is a criminal mastermind, just a desperate girl trying to save her own party-hopping butt.

Because everyone believes Cassie s withholding the truth, would it be possible to administer sodium penithol (sp) to her in order to find out exactly what she knows about Caylee's disappearance? I know little about this drug, except that it is known as "the truth serum". I am sure that there would be legal aspects to overcome before this could be administered, but I feel that if Caylee is still alive, hopefully, time is of the essence. If, God forbid, she has met harm, then it will help bring whoever committed such an unspeakable crime to justice.

I am curious as to what was bought during the shopping spree~ Did Casey buy anything for Caylee? This Grandmother has an excuse for EVERYTHING. If the DNA from the trunk comes back as Caylee I can almost bet that the Grandmother will say that they have had tea parties in the trunk every Friday with Caylee. I would also have the dogs check the landfill the way Casey is disconnected she probably put her daughter in the dumpster at her boyfriend's apartment I can also bet that I have loss more sleep over Caylee missing than Casey has!

Sadly, I don't think beautiful little Caylee is alive. In my opinion, Casey has an emotional disorder. She (Casey) comes across as a brat who is disrespectful to her mother, and a mother who cares much more about herself than she cares about her child. The evidence revealed so far, coupled with Casey's behavior gives every indication that poor little Caylee is not alive. Why wasn't an Amber Alert issued?

What makes me so suspicious of her mother (Cindy) is how scripted her 3 calls sounded. In her first call (after seeing the police substation was closed), it was all about her money being taken and she mentions grand theft and her car they just recovered. In all 3 calls she purposely avoids answering whatever the dispatch operator asks her, because she has her own hidden agenda. It almost sounds like a criminal laying out their groundwork for their defense. In first 2 calls, the main reason for the calls were in regards to turning in her daughter for breaking the law in taking items from her parents. Any grandparent wouldn't care about anything material being missing, but would be obsessed with where their grandchild has been for a month. I've also noticed that Cindy's obfuscating on the truth, is almost identical to her daughters apparent inability to tell the truth. All their interactions, including with her brother almost sounds like it's cryptic and encoded language. All is very ambiguous, and an obvious attempt at a cover up. The police and FBI are taking a laid back approach (e.g. no Amber alert), because it's so obvious to them who is guilty of the crime. That's why they'll start or have already started, looking for a body. The problem is, 6-7 weeks have transpired and the heat in central Florida probably would make any remains from a shallow site hard to recover. There are so many inconsistencies and subplots, that they are waiting on her to break. She's hoping for a deal eventually. The fact no one has seen or ever spoken to this invisible nanny, doesn't hold out much hope for the child. In a nation of 300 million the pro's that work these cases, have heard every conceivable excuse and her ridiculous lies are just irritating them and obvious. I'd hold her on a high bond, just like they are doing. Make her life miserable.

If I was the parents of the young man that died in a car accident I would DEMAND a DNA test to confirm that their son was the father of Caylee. My gut feeling is that she said his name as the father AFTER he passed away Knowing that he could not confirm. I pray that they will solve this SOON and they Lock Casey and Cindy Away!!

I apologize for sounding so shallow, but at this point it's very clear to me that Caylee was killed by her mother Casey, and I'm tired of the whole thing since the child is dead. No point in all this continuing huge coverage. All I can say, and again I'm sorry for sounding so shallow, is that Casey will spend her life in jail, or at least until she's old. I mean, obviously she messed up and the death of this child is very saddening, but Casey is so hot, so sexy, that I feel bad she'll be in jail for a long time if not forever. It's a waste of physical talent, frankly. Has anybody else noticed? Anyway, sorry for sounding shallow, even worse than shallow by saying this. I just think Casey is sizzling hot. To me, the most telling of this whole situation is the lack of emotion from any of the family - they are all "matter of fact". I hate to be judgemental, but something's not right. Even watching them tonight - no tears - I know we are all handle our problems differently, but I can tell you if a child of mine was missing I would be very distraught!

The Grandmother's original calls to the police seemed very clear. She was very upset, but clear that she was not going to accept anymore excuses. She was genuinely upset and frantic. However since that time, she has only been focused on her daughter, Casey...who she had arrested because she could not produce the toddler. Also, I have never heard anyone discuss the initial recorded call from the jail between Casey and Cindy. It was so evident that the daughter, Casey talked down to the Mother. She even called her by her first name and the Mother, Cindy, seemed to the child in the relationship. Also everyone in the family seems afraid to confront her. They speak to her so carefully or else they will have to deal with Casey's wrath. As of today, the daughter warned her Mother that Caylee is in grave danger. Then why not help the police. This whole family is complicit in this childs situation. I am sure that this young woman, Casey, has a history of lying and the family is very well aware of it. Casey shows no remorse and I think the family is afraid of her. The Grandfather is a real number, since he is an ex cop and has fallen for this bull. I think Casey is trying to buy time to see how things pan out and adjust her story as it goes. I fear for the child. I think the family is unable to accept what might have happeneed. I am a Psychic Investigator, a specialist in finding missing persons (especially children). I believe Caylie died in the car from heat exhaustion, while her Mother left her alone in the car, unattended. I appreciate all the solid investigating you have done on this case, Greta. I also admire the well-thought-out, pared-down timeline Mark Fuhrman provided. I agree with the law enforcement officers involved that Casey is not to be believed. While I understand your point about releasing her from prison and following Casey, I don't think it would be productive. The police have already wasted so much time following her phony leads. Also, I see Cindy Anthony as growing increasingly less believable as she tries to avoid tripping over Casey's previous, erroneous explanations. Each time she restates, or repeats Casey's earlier "stories," she loses credibility with me. I can only imagine that she struggles to avoid the inescapable conclusion that her own daughter has "lost" (take that at any level you choose!) her beloved granddaughter. Do you have any information about Casey's medical history, and whether she has been diagnosed as having a recognized mental illness? What about medications she might be taking?

I think Cayle died either drowning in the family pool or through overheating when left alone in the car. In each case it was through Casey's neglect. I definitely do not believe she would intentionally harm her. When Casey found Cayle dead, she panicked and went into a shock. She became so scared that all she could do was hide what happened and in her own mind not to believe it really did. That explains her composed behavior. It is all because of the shock she went into. In my opinion, she will never acknowledge the tragedy took place. She erased it from her mind out of pain.She does not lie.She does not know.When she says the child is close to home,it may mean she is burried nearby.I'm very sorry for the whole family.A horrible tragedy. I absolutely agree with Shirley...I think they all know what happened. It's too bad that they didn't seek help if there was some type of issue with the little girl. There are so many people who would do anything to adopt a precious child. I pray that she is alive!

Casey has something to do with this. Caylee is probably dead:( I also believe the grandmother knows more than she's telling. These two lived with them and she didn't see her granddaughter for a month?? That is very suspicious to me. I think the mother and grandmother are somehow involved. The behaviour of them all is so detached.

At first I wondered about the grandmother also but I believe she did the right thing by calling the police as soon as her daughter gave her the run around. Deep down inside she knows the child is dead, it's just she can not believe her own flesh and blood has something to do with it. It is just too painful so she is holding onto hope. She could be in some kind of shock herself. For all of us out here having to listen to this I hope we have some resolution quickly for the viewers are more upset about this little girl then her own mother. Remember this is a horror for those grandparents and they are going to need intense help when it is pieced together for it will be horrible, unfortunately. When all is said and done and the spot light is off, they are going to be left with their own thoughts and pain. At that point these people are going to need a lot of prayer.

The Grandmother's actions in this case are WAY over the top of believability! I believe she knows exactly what happened to this child and she also may be culpable in the cause of the childs demise/dissappearance. We all hope she will be found alive but with the canine detection of morbid human flesh, and these dogs are heavily trained and NOT prone to false positives, the out come here looks rather bleak. The probability is cover up of an accident. Then again Susan Smith did the same thing and ran Police into the ground when she deliberately drowned her two young sons! We will not know for sure until the truth will out. And the TRUTH WILL OUT! Eventually we will know what occured. Right now I and I'm sure the police are waiting on the DNA and microscopic evidence test results. This will reveal much. There will probably be DNA positives and if the dogs can smell the body there is a large chance the microscopic evidence will prove them right.

I have to question why Casy's dad seems to play no part in this..being a retired detective you would think his envolvement would be very prominet.. Instead he seems to be uninvolved in anything Cindy says or has done.. I feel he has coached the mother and daughter very well in a cover up.. I feel Caylee's body is in a sealed container and hidden or barried someware other then the home property. Also when they showed Caylee's bedroom yesterday It looked aful straight and clean, almost like a shrine..

Give the grandparents a break. They're obviously holding out hope that Caylee is still alive - and are somewhat in denial - at least that's how they present themselves. If one of my grandchildren was missing, I probably wouldn't be able to get the dates right, or anything else for that matter, because I'd be so upset. Casey is another story. She lies about everything and I doubt that her story about Caylee's father agreeing not to have anything to do with her is even true. It's something Casey made up so the parents wouldn't have to know who the father was. She may not even have told him she was pregnant. Maybe she didn't even know his name, judging from her pictures at the club. By the way, don't send them anything - like toys or stuffed animals. The brother said in an interview that they threw out what people had left and sent for Caylee because things wreaked of cigarette smoke. Then he laughed about it. They could have been cleaned and given to a charity or something. There's always something you can do with them besides put them in the trash. If by some chance she's alive (I seriously doubt it) and comes home, it would be nice for her to at least see how much complete strangers cared about her and prayed for her safe return. I guess the brother knows she isn't coming home...

It is obvious that Casey Anthony is (was) an unfit mother. I can't help but wonder if that child was left in the mother's car, in the Florida heat, for the mother to return hours later to find the child dead. She was probably frighted (for herself of course) and disposed of that poor baby's body. I question why they won't say who Caylee's father is? Could this child have been the result of incest? The parents are blind if they do not believe that Casey is involved. I admit that it would be hard to comprehend that your child could do something so horrific to their own child (which makes me wonder if it was incest, this would help explain the reason that Casey appears to have the ability to detach herself from her child and why the family is so determined not to disclose who Caylee's father is).

It was stated last night that the biological father of this sweet child was a "friend" of Casey's and he was involved with someone else at the time of her conception and also had other children, and they decided that he would have no envolvment in this childs life, and he later died in a car accident.... To be honest, I don't believe that he has passed away. With a pathalogical LIAR such as this woman, WHO KNOWS. This story is just awful from the mother all the way to the grandparents. I think that they all know what has happened to this sweet little girl.

Where is her father? Her father died in a car accident. Anyone who is not suspicious of the Mother is scary. Wow. She doesn't even care that her daughter is missing. The only reason the authorities know about it is because the grandmother called the cops! Not once has she even uttered any concern to anyone in any phone conversation. My gut feeling since the beginning is that she gave her up to some child porn ring. I would check her finances and phone records very carefully.

If they truly found decomposing body scent in the trunk and in the yard it pretty much means she is dead. Since the mother sounds so shady and couldn't care less about her daughter they need to do some serious policework and keep her in jail. I can't believe they don't have any more information. It will be another Jon Benet or Stacy Peterson. We may never know.

I can't believe this charade is continuing. That mother is so full of sh*t it actually takes your breath away. How could that grandmother continue to buy into her daughter's lies. This is a situation that waterboarding would solve in less than a minute. That daughter needs to be forced to tell what really happened. We all know that poor little girl is dead, I just want to know how she died and what that lying, pathetic mother did with the body.

I am watching Greta now interviewing the grandparents. Casey has lied throughout this whole process. She is covering up her child's murder. May God have mercy on her soul. This adorable little girl. She is an unfit mother and put herself first, she doesn't want the world to know what she did but we will soon know what happened to Caylee.

I believe that this mother either killed her daughter mistakenly or her daughter had a fatal accident. Afterwards she freaked out calling her mom and dad....with no answer she collected her thoughts and came up with a sick plan of covering up the incident. From statements of her friends and people that know her, she is a dishonest person by nature. So, settling into her natural state/character she started making up scenerios and cover-ups in her head from the start. She has had a month to tighten up her story and think about possibile actions. I do believe that the baby is dead and everyone in this family is lying about something.

As a mother of a 3 year old little girl and a 11 month old son, I want to hope for the best for little Caylee, but it's been almost two months...The mother didn't act like she cared from the beginning and that is really suspicious...I can't be away from my children for 5 minutes without worrying...If the "babysitter" took the girl, then why didn't the mother do something sooner unless she was worried about getting exposed for the psycho she really is...I really pray that little Caylee is alive but it doesn't look like a possiblility anymore..

Because of the pool ladder being back in the pool, I believe Caylee drowned. Casey put the body in her car immediately after she realized Caylee was dead. Casey borrowed the shovel to bury Caylee in the back yard, backed the car into the drive, and then saw it wasn't feasible to bury her there. She kept the body in the car trunk until she stole the gas, brought the body somewhere, burned and buried the body. The grandparents are in real denial but are letting out evidence as they slowly comprehend the truth. I don't believe they realized Caylee wasn't with Casey until the day Cindy called police. What I don't understand is why we are hearing nothing about the identity of the current boyfriend (forget the deceased father) and nothing about police interviewing him. If he didn't help dispose of the body then he must be in even more denial than the grandparents. Casey asked Lee to get her the boyfriend's phone number. Shouldn't she know his phone number? Shouldn't he be calling her or visiting her? Shouldn't she have called and asked him to visit?

I am a Mother of one and Grandma of one If anything happened to eighter of them I wouldn't be in the news I would be in a hospatial some where . I would be crazy. My Son and Granddaughter are my LIFE. I haven't see a tear in eighter one of Caylee's Grandparents.

All I can say is........any NORMAL mother would've panicked and called 911 the first few MINUTES her child was missing! That gave it away for me. I hope they find Caylee
