Connections between different lines take too much time out of what would otherwise be a decently timed commute. waiting 30 minutes for the next departure or even longer is a joke.

San Francisco has a great public transit network, which I've used for 24 years. However, the buses stop too often, mostly every other block---and the ride is notoriously jerky!
I'm able-bodies, but I would be scared to ride were I any less agile, or older. I don't know if it's the drivers or the vehicles, but it can be off-putting.

All four years of high school I had to take public transportation in Philadelphia. I must say what I hated most was the fact that the bus was more for poor people who could not even afford to properly maintain hygiene. Sitting next to smelly people was awful. Also lots of drug junkies and prostitutes would take the bus around the same time I would in the early morning (6:45 a.m.)
It wasn't trendy or green to take the bus at the time. Lots of weirdos, homeless, working poor, etc. took the bus in addition to high school students at private/catholic schools who did not benefit from the cheese bus system permitted to public schools.

What does the question mean?
I have no idea.
Thanks.
