we released A Real Good Look because it was a radio friendly single that EVERYONE could enjoy. we were not trying to be too lyrical with this one because we were just getting ourselves out there. believe me, DAT can spit that lyrical, but we werent trynna go over too many people's heads. so we made a record that you could listen to in the house, the car, or even the club. and think about, in this day and age its not about who is more lyrical, sadly, its about who is the most marketable.

I appreciate all the comments, DAT's song is coo too, but we all know the deal about this poll, unfortunately I just found out today how it works. All I can say is WOW.

I actually enjoyed the DC Home Jamz this week. I noticed that they enabled the comments this week again, and will probably disable them again for the same reasons as the first time as before. All artists this week had solid tracks but the two that stood out were Nix and DAT. I checked out both and they have two different styles, but they're positive songs. I think people are too caught up in their preference of music though. If you like a song/person say that and be done. Downing the next person is unecessary and uncalled for. As far as the different styles, I see folks talking about the lyrical content of both songs. It's 2008 and you know exactly where the game stands and what people prefer to listen to, so no need in beating a dead horse about lyrics. I listened to all of the music on both of the artists pages and they both do their thing, so take it for what it is and respect their grinds. I did want to address Nix's comment though, keep up the good work, but what do you mean with "but we all know the deal about this poll..." It has always been an open poll so all of your fans that support you can vote, and that's all it is.

I agree DMV Representa, that was my mistake on the polls. I just had some fans tell me they could vote more than once, and others tell me that they couldn't, so I didn't understand. But its all good, honestly I hope DAT's song keeps doing its thing, because its def. a good song.
