What Do You Think of Archuleta's Crush?

From the first time I listen to this teen I knew he was going to be the idol or almost the idol he's voice is fantastic, and is not only imprest the young girls, I'm 41 and I know he is going yo going to bne a big star ,and I have to be honest both was good but archuleta deserve to be the american idol love this kid voice and everybody in the house as well.

I agree with the originator of this poll -- it's not a world-class song, in and of itself, but he makes it great because of who he is and how he sings it. Does anyone know -- did he write this one himself? I hate to say it, but it has the musical and lyrical sophistication (or lack thereof...) of a teenager. But, because David is the Ultimate Incredibly Adorable Teenaged Boy, it's a totally appropriate song for him!

I really Loved this guys voice from the first time I heard him sing On A/I . I was not entirly surprised he didn't quite make the mark and win the #1 spot on Idol simple from lack of long term experience/stage presence. Just a little more growing up and he'll { I feel } be an undeniable contender in the Pop contemporary music World and beyond. As I mentioned before { GREAT set of PIPES !} . That said. With the Idol tour and recent release of his CRUSH single .David is CLEARLY on his way to being one of the VERY BEST talents to leave the A/I stage a NON Idol champion but lets face it that's never stopped any of the others who stood in his position before or even in the top 10 for that matter.I personally was a BIG fan and was torn between the Davids simply from an experience position. After the initial disapointment I came to the relization the right choice was probably made. Lets face it winner or runner up David A is going to be { in my humble opinion } a regular chart topper and given the opportunity, right songs and marketing potentialy grammy award winner. YES I said it ! Hey if I'm wrong I'll admit it but mark my words this is a special guy with an extraordinary gift and heart of gold. A formula for success. He comes across with a true humility which I'm hoping won't be jaded by the industry. We should suport and keep him in our prayers for guidence and MUCH success . God Bless you David.
