Vulnerable people like OAP's would not have to beg for charity if the Government increased Pensions in line with inflation. Present Government has no worries about rising prices. MP's and Local Government Cllrs. as with selected officers, are able to claim Car allowances etc. the lucrative fuel saving then being used to cover the massive rise in utility and food prices.

The blame for the currrent exhorbitant 'hike' in fuel- both domestic and business use, lies squarely at the door of Government - it was MP's votes that allowed essential commodities to be run as private enterprises - whose sole aim is to achieve massive profits for its shareholders.

I think it is disgusting that the seniors have to manage on mean pensions. I feel we are being discriminated against by the government, which is wrong especially where NHS is concerned, it makes my blood boil.
