Should Massachusetts have a sales-tax holiday?

Answer 1 Yes. A sales-tax holiday gives consumers a break, allows consumers to plan for major purchases, generates additional revenue through other taxes such as the meals tax and helps retailers.

Answer 2 No. This is just a gimmick that hurts state revenues and consumers just buy items they would have bought anyway.
