Why not? Beauty is only a coat of paint deep, and it works.

NO, It would destroy its looks and its value. I will get a good lock.

How about mandatory registration of bikes and licencing of bike dealers to make it impossible to sell a stolen bike?

GPS technology is getting so cheap, I will be able to look it up on a computer soon.

Already uglied my bike. Don't forget to save some bottle caps from your favorite beer and glue those on top of the bad paint job!

No. I have a second bike that I found at a garage sale - really their trash pile, tuned up and bolted an ugly rack to - so it's already hideous!
