if outback wins than this poll is a joke. they have average cut steaks that you can buy at any grocery store and make yourself. flemings is by far the best steak in dayton. they have the best cut and perfectly prepared everytime. if you haven't been there you should go before voting it will be the best steak you've had in your life from anywhere.
I am a big Pine Club and Oakwood Club fan! But as far as the best steak in Dayton, there is no comparison to these restaurants and Flemings! You may pay a bit more, not that much, but your steak will be the best cut and prepared the way you want it or Flemings will make it right! Also, they do have the best martinis in Dayton, bar none!!
the paragon should win, they by far have the best steaks and the best service! not only do they have the best steaks in dayton they have the best lobster in ohio
Outback or Longhorn will win not because they have the best steak, but because they have the most employees that will vote every hour. Most polls let you vote once! Go Paragon!
I visited Fleming's during Restaurant Week this summer and was most impressed with every aspect of the dining experience. The Filet Oscar was excellent and perfectly prepared. The service was quite prompt and friendly while being the most professional that I have experienced in Dayton in a very long time. I will return and I won't wait for the next Restaurant Week!
newsflash: adding $10 to $15 to the price of a meat cut doesn't make it taste any better. Outback delivers a great steak, minus the snob factor.
Adding $10 to $15 to the grade of beef IS the difference. Prime vs choice vs select etc... Everybody really needs to get on board with the GRADE of beef each restaurant serves. Cuts of beef are the same. Grade is the difference! The best restaurants are closed on Sunday and/or Monday and don't allow the employees to spend time voting! Long live the independent restaurants of Dayton!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Fleming's is head and shoulders above the rest as far as the quality of the steaks ,which are served on sizzling hot plates, the atmosphere is the best in Dayton, you are never rushed and they cater to your every whim. The service and the management are the best I have seen in the Dayton area. Drinks are very generous. It only costs a little more to go First Class !
I have eaten at all the restaurants and Flemings wins hands down. Not only are the steaks are prepared perfectly, but the service can not be beat. For that really special night out in Dayton Flemings is the place to go.
Here's where you get to tell the world what you think. Every week you get to vote on the...
