Should SEOmoz Continue to Provide Gray/Black Hat Content?

No. There are so many more important white hat topics that should be covered, it's never worthwhile.

No. Except in rare cases where black/gray hat techniques overlap with best practices for white hat, stay away.

Yes. But, keep the black/gray content to a comfortable minimum while making sure it provides very direct value to white hats and doesn't encourage possible abuse.

Yes. Gray/Black hat material is invaluable to search marketers of all stripes. Don't hesitate to post on it whenever there's value to be gained.

Yes, you should keep it coming. I would like to no why my competitors are out-ranking me for certain terms and this information helps give me clues. If you look at enough black hat information you can get creative with clean white hat ideas that are 100% above board and unique. Please keep spreading the knowledge, some don't wont it spread but that's what makes it more valuable to do just that. - R

First off, I find it offensive and horrible that so called "web ethicists" would want to engage in such censorship and virtual book burning. We even have to VOTE about whether we'll listen to information? Second, it is fantastically hypocritical for people that want to increase their search engine positions would impose THEIR OWN view of morality upon you ... everyone makes their decision about what to use and/or not to use - information is simply information. If a person finds a particular technique wrong for their application, DON'T USE IT. Third, the Internet is a BUSINESS not a religion. It is foolish and naive to wrap this BUSINESS called the Internet into a right/wrong black/white structure. That only assist those in power, not the masses. Last and perhaps most importantly, the person that blabbed the BH blather about SEOMoz and began the process that caused you to lose your contract should be forcibly removed from the Internet (and business in general) never to return. Frankly, that sort of behavior is WAY WAY more offensive to me than even email spamming. EMail spam is a drag, but that moronic, self righteous bonehead has been directly responsible for taking food off your table. It should be rewritten as grand theft and he should atone as such. Grrrrr.

Yes, of course! We need to know what *not* to do. Also, if you guys are talking about it you can bet that Google are too & will be quickly rolloing out ways to combat the problem. Cheating is never going to work long term.
