It smells, especially in the summer

My lid gets lost

It isn’t easy to take to the curb

Nothing, I’m pretty happy

Even though 1/3 of users agree this is most annoying, you don't sell replacement lids! A missed business opportunity!

I am completely satisfied with my 50 gallon trash cans which I purchased recently. The sanitation refuses to take my garbage because the maximum gallons allowed is 45. I did not know this and was wondering if I could get some coupons so I could purchase 6 of the black 45 gallon garbage can and two of the green. I still have my receipt becasue of the warranty but I love the rubbermaid and would not like to settle for a different one although it might be cheaper in price. Please help me. Also let me know where I can purchase the 45 gallon ones. Thank you.

I have rheumatoid arthritis. I'd never buy a garbage can without wheels.

Definitely need to sell lids for the 50 gal can. Even if on e-mail only. It's really annoying to have to buy a new can because the trash collectors broke the lid on the one you have.

I agree that replacement lids are a must for the Rubbermaid company. Ours disappeared months ago. Sell them online!

I have four 32 gallon garbage cans. They're only 4 years old and all of the lids have desinagrated. They just don't stand up to the elements well. If replacement lids aren't available and I have to buy completely new cans, I will go with someone elses product. Perhaps metal

The lids never outlast the cans themselves. I went to Walmart to buy a lid and realize can't buy them seperate. I may look for alternative brands, Im very frustrated with this issue, may try metal

Well, my municipality won't pick up a can over 26 gallons. It must have fixed handles and no wheels.

My garbage cans are only a little over a year old and the lids have disinagrated you need to sell just lids I will buy metal next time. You used to have a good product but I'm not to sure anymore.

Why don't you have trash cans with attached lids?

I have a really bad problem with squirrils and racoons eating through my trash cans (noy just taking the lid off). I've been shopping for new cans and I am very frustrated by the selection. The ideal can would have the following:
-wheels
-attached lid that CLIPS on
-sturdy, thick construction
-45 gallons
Is it too much to ask for these features?

We too came here looking for a lid. I would have bet I could have got one from the web sight. I have 2 45 gallon cans that are just about 1 year old. The covers are cracked from being thrown to the ground. We have duct taped them but now they are too bad to even do that. I guess why would you sell just the covers if you can force someone to buy the whole thing. Well we will be looking else were. At least the raccoons, skunks etc are happy.

I have (6) 32 gallon roughneck trashcans but all of the lids are cracked or broken which makes them hard to use in the rain / snow because 0f the weight difficult to move and trash guys to pick up sometimes they don't. You just can not go into a store and buy only lids. The bottom part of trashcans are fine. Wish the lids where stronger!!!!!!!
